I don't really have memories from the Spectrum, I never went to Flyers as a kid. Honestly, the only time I've ever been inside was for a Black Sabbath/Pantera concert.

Its definitely gonna look weird at the Sports Complex minus another stadium, the only stadium that actually had a championship in it. I wanna do a tour of the flyers locker room and all that jazz before they rip it down.

this really sucks and i hate that corparate america is like taking over and bringing down landmarks like this for fucking stores and hotels like we dont have enough starbucks and gaps in this world so lets knock down an icon of a building that means alot to the people in this area....i remember goin to some flyers games as a kid, monster truck rallys when i was 3 yrs old all the way till i was like 13 hahaha, seein the phantoms win the championship there, walking around with my dad as he worked there going in the club boxes and offices when no one was there and meeting bob clarke and gene hart there. im gonna miss it...im def starting to put money away if they sell im gettin a pair of seats.

I agree that it sucks but like Snyder said in an article in the daily news today, it was his baby and it had its time. I don't find it crazy that their knocking it down, I do however think its insane that Yankee Stadium is getting knocked down... If they'll knock that place down then they'll demolish anything.

I plan on buying 2 end seats from there too, my basement won't need couches, if you wanna watch a game its gotta be in a vet or spectrum seat.

This site is pretty cool, look at the calender, you pick a month and a year and it shows you everything that ever happened there.
