I bought Star Fox Adventures before it falls off the face of the earth. 14 bucks well spent. :)

Its weird. I hate Star Fox Adventures. I actually traded it in ages ago so I could buy Demi a game before she left school and went home for a while (long story, it was when we first started seeing each other). Anyway, as much as I don't like it, I feel compelled to have it back in my collection. I'll tell you one thing, Rare were wizards with the Gamecube hardware. There's not much else on the system that looks better than SFA, and it came out only a year into the Cube's lifespan. It's got a really nice frame rate too, something really rare in a Rare game.

Nothing is compelling about this game, except Fox is outside of his Arwing. I love it anyways.

Star Fox Adventures bit off of Ocarina of Time quite a bit...i rented Star Fox Adventures a loooooong time ago after i got my cube then rented it again months later and forgot where i was and had to go and lost interest totally but it really is a beautiful game and the chick was a cool character with a weird fuckin language.

PS

Ocarina of Time didnt have a jump button either...right?

Yeah, SFA was Rare' attempt at a 3D Zelda. The only thing is lacked was great pacing and awesome puzzles. There also wasn't much going on in the combat system. But yeah, one of the things it borrowed from Zelda was the no jump button, which is fine, you never needed to jump and if you did it would auto jump.

hahaha wtf! Why doesn't the lack of jump in Zelda bother me? I'm so weird.

Nah 5 different auctions nobody was biting on them, .99 - 2.99 for every one and it was 3 bucks for the first one to ship then 1 buck there after. Golf comes with the box and everything, thats the only reason i bought that. 2 bucks, how can you go wrong.

That I did. We should play some time. I might be on tonight but I have a friend over now so if I do go on it will probably be between 12 and 2 am Eastern time. (right now it's 11:22 for reference.)

Lookin at my friends list, I noticed a neat, but pointless, feature in RB6. When someone is doing terrorist hunt in a full server, it says, 'Cooperatively eliminating terrorists in VILLA.' If there's room in the server, instead of saying JOINABLE, it says, 'Needs help eliminating terrorists in VILLA.'

....I thought it was cool :|

I also noticed that and thought it was cool.

And from now on I will try to not post anything to do with one system being better then the others although I will post about how games are shit and if the system has anything to do with that I will say it.

I'm not trying to knock Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, but all these Rainbow 6 games are confusing me. Dante told me the other night he was going to play it and I thought "Oh I guess he must have picked it up on clearance." Then I saw a commercial the other day, so that was when I realized it was new. I seriously thought it has bee out for months. Is this out for PS3 as well? I haven't seen whats been coming out on the PS3 lately. I should look at it.

edit: oh it did.

Yea the PS3 Vegas didnt come out too long ago. It was one of the those late ports for the ps3. But this one launched on the same day I think. I have the first but i'm passing on this one. Maybe throw it on my gamefly list.

It sort of is but you could say that about a lot of #2 games.

Also the online is better and the T hunt is so much more fun then the last one, the story is ass though.

I am actually really happy with it anyways because of the online and I have a lot of online friends who play it.

yeah spiker that was pretty much the deal with GRAW2, it was a bonus pack to GRAW masquerading as a $60 title. they made some improvements int he online and stuff, but overall it was not worth the full price. I'll wait for RB6:V2 to hit budget price before I check it out.

Well you could say the same thing about a great game like Mortal Kombat. It was the same fighting game with some slightly different graphics and new characters. Well this has new maps, guns, game modes and a lot of other stuff.
