i'm buying a condo this month, so next year i hear my refund will be pretty sweet. that'll be good so i can toss a bunch of cash against my principal on my second loan.

yeah dude the reason mine was good this year was because i bought a house.
i was pleasantly surprised when i got my refund.

Oh okay. You probably adjust your deductions for next year then. A big tax refund might seem like a good thing but it really means that the government had more of your money for a year. I believe this was the argument that had Ryan all riled up last year.

no. manfre just bought a house this past year. you get big refunds for buying a house (any points you pay, interest on a mortgage).

hopefully maybe refund for buying this year will help out with the cash i'll owe to the IRS this year. like last year, i have a ton of 1099s from freelance.

actually i bought my place in the summer of 2006 so i got a lot back last year from doing that. then i had the house for all of 2007 and ended up getting even more back this year somehow. i dont really know how that works but i'm happy about it.

I thought Nitro's started at like $20k. Unless it's loaded with a ton of shit you might be able to bring the value down some from $30k.

i just filed my income taxes on my own for the first time.
and now i have a huge smile on my face. MONEY!!!!!!!!
