If it makes you feel any better, I like it more than Advent Children.

That pic is sweet.

I've been trying to rent MOH: Heroes 2 before I buy it but the assholes who have Game Pass @ Blockbuster never return it. I have a giftcard for FYE (that place sucks), they only have certain games. They don't even have Mario Galaxy but they have Metroid Prime 3 so I might pick that up.

Dude, Rambo Ultimate Edition is only 15 bucks at Target. That's 5 bucks a movie, so it is pretty much a steal. I also got that SF DVD for 1 dollar, as you know from the thread. That is a deal and it's not at the same time, because it's only worth 1 cent. Hahaha, I still love it, even though I haven't watched it yet.

I picked up DMC1 for $7.99 today. I also grabbed Yoshi Topsy-Turvy for the GBA (for my kid). It's actually a pretty fun little game.

Now you gotta convince Phil to play it! By the way, if you decide to try and blast through the series before you play 4, feel free to skip #2. Most DMC fanboys like to pretend it never existed because it's nowhere near as good as the others. In chronological order they go 3, 1, 4, 2. Don't be discouraged by the difficulty either, 3 is one of the hardest games I've played.

I heard DMC3 Special Edition has an easier difficulty setting.

Sorry man, I wanted to love DMC. I loved the shit out of the demo that came with Resident Evil. I even went to Gamestop and bought it from them for about the price Steve payed for his used copy. The final game just didn't do it for me. In between all the cool was a dreadful save system, clunky menus, long load times, and did I mention a terrible save system? For me it was enough to ruin the experience. I was saved outside of a boss battle with no men left and next to zero health. The only way for me to go further would be to learn the fight so well that I'd win without taking a hit (but it sucked because I'd usually die quicker than it took to load my file to play the part over again) or start the game over from the beginning. There hasn't been a save system that shitty since Ironsword on the NES.

I'm with ya Phil. When I first played DMC I thought it was awesome, the demo that is. I remember getting the game then pretty much hating it. I skipped the second cuz I heard it was god awful then got the special edition for the 3rd. I played it for a little while then said this stinks and had enough. Other than 2 i've given them all a good shot but i'm not a DMC fan I guess. I'll still try the new one on gamefly. But from what i've played on the demo i'd have to say I prolly wont like it.
