I'm really happy about the bi-weekly updates, that sounds awesome.
But.. the new designs were kind of a shocker. I really liked the old designs.
The new Grey looks like he knows what he's doing, he looks like he's mature, he looks.. like a not-kid. I miss Grey's crazy cow lick and dopey smurk.
The new Jacquo isn't as unkept I think, his ears look groomed and he looks to well fed to be a bum.
I know this might be a bit harsh, but I'd be lying if I said anything otherwise.

I agree. Bring back the old Grey and Jacquo.

I like the new Jacquo, Grey will grow on me I'm sure. It definetely looks less like Phil now.

Thank you. Hahaha.

When I make changes like these I give them a lot of thought. When I was working on the new Grey, I wasn't even sure what I thought about it. So I walked away from it for a bit and came back to it. I still wasn't sure if I was sold on it myself, but then I opened up the original Grey and everything that I felt was wrong with him smacked me in the face. As for the new one not looking as clueless or goofy as the old Grey... I think when you see him moving around and talking you won't care.

About Jacquo looking cleaner and less bum like... wow... I mean, I actually attempted to make him look worse. This Jacquo looks way more depressed, and his ears actually have chunks missing from them. He even has whisker stubble. The reason he "gained weight" is because I actually tried taking into account what he'd look like under his coat. I feel he looks way more like a slob/bum than ever before.

But it's okay. I expected this, and I'm still confident in my decision.

grey is still the bumbling, good hearted fool, peter-pan-syndrome guy. i really think the new jac is a vast improvement. he's way more appealing and depressed looking. i agree with phil. these designs are what we call in the biz as "plussing". give it time to sit with you, and i think you'll agree.

Haha, I think my Nerdlog comment should have gone here. o_O

Oh well, but I definitely think Jacquo looks much more UN-kept which is awesome, I just kind of miss Grey's dimwit look on his face. =P

I took another look at them and they're growing on me.
Instead of just switching to the new designs, give them an entrance or something.
*pokemon evolve music*
or
Hey Jacquo, I just went NEXT GEN.

Looking down at the banner everytime I come to the smorg has already made me used to the new Grey design. Are you leaving the voice alone?

Nah, the reason I told them was for me to see it and for them to lock it up after so no one else can see it.

And now my plan is complete.

The best part is, if someone was creeping around your pictures and said something like that, you would get major uptight about it.
