Yeah, I tend to like racers like that too. I know you're a big Wipeout fan. I never really played any of those, but I have one for the N64 that I got over the summer. I only played it a bit and wasn't totally impressed, but I think that's mostly because 1) I'm sure they got better since then and 2) the N64 port probably wasn't good compared to the original. I'm looking forward to Wipeout HD on PSN though. Did you ever play/get into F-Zero GX? If not, you could probably find it dirt cheap and I suggest it to you.

I might stop off at Best Buy today to ask them about something. I want this Plasma TV and they have a deal where you get a free $500 Blu-Ray player if you get the TV but I was wondering if I could exchange the Blu-Ray player for a PS3 instead. If there was some way I could pull that off, I think I'm going to do that. However, there's probably no real reason why I should be getting that. I think I just might be compulsively buying again..... Let's hope they won't let me do the exchange.

I'm done buying games for a while, I have so many games I picked up that i haven't even thought of playing yet. When I get a ps3 I'm gonna finish tackeling FF7 - 9 though.

Nice. I've been looking at stuff to house all of my games and goods as well. I can't wait to unify everything and completely geek out in my home.

yeah other than MGS4, nothing is on my radar. i have folklore still to get through, then next up is uncharted, and then assassins creed. and im still chipping away at contra4 here and there. i believe im set for a while with video games.

yea me too....i tend to take awhile with my games. Still got Assassin's Creed, Bioshock and Mass Effect ( haven't even started this one yet).

As much as I want to spread the NMH love, I get the feeling this isn't a "for everyone" type of game. I'd suggest you rent it or something before you trade in 3 good titles for it.

I'd suggest you sell those titles on ebay if you really want to get rid of them. dont get raped on the trade-in values.

or Game Alleyied! Well I just beat the single player campaign in COD 4 last night. I'll probably pick Assassin's Creed back up and beat that. I need to beat more than 3 games like 2007.

Anyone buy Unreal Tournament III for PS3? I impulsively bought it but its not half bad. I was thinking of trading it in but then I realized I can just buy Uncharted the next time someone comes to trade it in at my store for $20. Our cash value for it is only $18 so I think I can manage the two extra bucks. You guys hate me!

Uncharted is sweet man, you would do well to own that one.

I'm going to rent Unreal at some point, not sure if i'd play it enough to warrant a purchase.

My final purchase for the month of Jan will be No More Heroes next tuesday. I may even walk over to Gamestop and reserve it today.

I played the demo of UT3 on the PC. It was pretty cool but felt pretty much the same as the previous UTs. I sucked at using the vehicles though. I watched the review on gametrailers. It looks like a pretty fun game. I'd pick it up if I had a better computer to run it on. I can't see myself playing it on a console though.
