It's only a sequel to Prey in name and universe, but it's not a continuation. I recall it being an open world, sci-fi bounty hunting game and it seemed pretty awesome, so that's where the buzz is from. They showed a gameplay demo last E3, but I don't remember the specifics.

Also, it's not a Bethesda developed game, it's just being published by Bethesda Softworks.

Yeah didn't he say the dev name? But still, I'm sure Bethesda Softworks doesn't want to put out a shit product, or maybe they don't care. I don't know.

This kettle isn't a host on the show.

looking forward to listening to this one. i already know phil is a huge fan of out of this world, and i've played it myself a bunch way back on the SNES, so it will be interesting to hear what the other guys think of it.

I'm not sure if me playing the game for 1 more hour or whatever would have given me that much more to say about it. Finishing the games was never a requirement for the show, as long as we were able to have a decent discussion about it. Quite frankly the minimal amount of interest we get from each episode has me wondering if anyone really cares anyway. I look at the numbers for the downloads and compare them to the amount of feedback we get and its essentially 100:0... so obviously there is a disconnect somewhere. For example, I post it on the EG Facebook page and the only two people that even give it a 'Like' are me and Phil. That's it.

So yeah, I play enough of the game that I can have an intelligent conversation about it and thats about it. In the case where its something I absolutely love (Jamestown, Actraiser, etc) I finish the game. So that just has to be good enough I guess. If not, don't listen... I don't know what else to say.

I didn't mean it as an insult. I watch the show every week and enjoy it, despite not wanting to actually play the games myself. Yes, just playing a portion of the game gives you enough to talk about, but my idea of a book club is to discuss the entirety of the book/game. If I was personally in a book club, I would expect the other people to read the whole thing. Maybe I have a different view of book clubs.

They don't have as much time to play video games as you do Dante.
