Hey, Phil is on another elder geek podcast. Why didn't you link us or did I just miss it? It showed up on my youtube subscription.

Oh, PS 4 is definitely in the makings. From the source.

Just played the demo. I had fun, I think it had a Yoshi's Island style of art and I really enjoyed that. The music was upbeat and well done, I'm almost tempted to get the game just to hear the rest of the soundtrack. It's a cool mechanic with picking the kids up, how ever many you get to end of the stage helps you somehow, I don't know because it wasn't explained in the demo. It's more challenging than just getting to the end, it's making sure you get as many of your little fellas to the end as well, which I find enjoyable. I liked it and for someone who pirates everything I'm almost moved enough to buy the damned thing, almost.

Actually, you can't win the stage unless you get them all to the door! But thanks dude.

Well, it resembles Yoshi's Island in looks and throwing the babies is similar to the idea of the eggs in Yoshi, but they're very different games.

Hahahaha, yeah, a bit. It's just a very well made game. It's not going to go down in history as an all time great, but it doesn't have any real issues. It's just solid.

And cool Russ, I always forget you know codez.

Yeah, since moving out to CA, I've become your average Joe code monkey.

Good show. Grimrock is also too expensive for me, but maybe I'll find other ways.

Please play this game for the game club. Once it is complete.

I ended up getting a humble bundle copy from Spiker, and I did not like it at all!

edit: btw, if the game makes your GPU fans go ballistic, you need to turn on Vsync.

I guess it was part of a past bundle...
edit: Oh wait, I think the humble bundles dudes just helped them sell it. It wasn't part of a bundle, you could just buy it from their site.

I'm surprised they even made a sequal to Prey. I didn't realize people liked the first one that much.

I actually played through the entire first Prey. I thought it was neat with the gravity aspect but that was about it.
