I love how Frank is like "You passed out while pissing!" and Manf is like "You passed out while holding the baby!" but there wasn't a single comment about you passing out while pissing AND holding a baby at the same time! That is scary as fuck individually combined that's completely horrifying. Helena is okay right?

Yeah she's fine. She was just really shaken up. She has a slight bump on her head but that's it. I wasn't laying there too long. Dem heard the fall and came down right away.

But yeah, it was ridiculous and I feel awful about it.

Hey, I was wondering the same thing. We all were.

I couldn't really picture what exactly happened. So you were holding the baby in your one arm and peeing with your other and you passed out. Were you done peeing or in the middle of peeing when you passed out?

It sounds like he was pissing, got light headed, attempted to turn around to sit down to finish the job and dropped.

Yeah i was holding Helena with one arm. I was standing. I felt myself getting light headed so I sat down on the toilet to finish peeing. From there I think/guess I fell off of the toilet, still while holding Helena. That whole point of turning to sit and passing out is a blur. I was only holding her while pissing because she was freaking out and in pain and I had to go so bad that I couldn't wait any longer.

I think I did finish peeing because there was no pee anywhere. It was all in the toilet.

But you would have to stop mid stream to turn around and sit down. That's tough to do man. Usually, it's just all in one go. How were you going to pull your pants back up? I guess it's tough with one hand but not impossible.

I'm capable of stopping and sitting, but it was getting nuts so I didn't think of things like "how am I going to pull my pants up?"

Man that is nuts, glad everything is alright. I know that exact feeling because I've done that five or six times myself, not all in the bathroom, but it was always because I was dehydrated. When you woke up, did it take you a minute to start hearing normal again? Always took me a little bit to get my bearings back. The time I passed out in the gym, I was just getting over a bad sickness and tried going way too heavy after a two week hiatus. Luckily, when I was checked out, there wasn't anything seriously wrong with me. I'd probably still get checked out by a doctor just in case....

Hey Phill, how old were the girls before you were able to just put them into their crib and they would sleep on their own?

The reason I ask is because I had my kid trained pretty well for a couple of weeks but my mom came to visit us and now he got all messed up again and he wants to be held to sleep all over again. I had to re-train him tonight. I hate it when he goes into this relaps. I just need to keep putting him down and letting him fall asleep on his own. The hardest part is if he cries, my wife and her aunt can't take it and they want to hold him to sleep which fucks him up even more. But I think I've managed to convince them both to do it my way for the moment. Hopefully he'll get back into a good rhythm.

Yeah he just needs to cry it out. I don't remember how long it took for the girls. It was different for both of them. Helena was always pretty good about it until her surgery. The last month was pretty bad but we got her back into her groove again.

Do you give him a bottle when you lay him down for bed? Maybe he's too young to go down with a bottle, I don't know. BUt that's how we got Celeste to lay down much better. We recently took them off their night bottle (now we just give them milk and a snack at around 7:30, try to get them in bed by 8:00 - 8:15) and they do pretty good without anything now. Celeste will still cry when we leave the room but only for a few minutes. We give them dolls to sleep with now too and they seem to really like them.

i hear letting them sleep with bottles is bad for their mouths/teeth if they fall a sleep with it in. the milk pools into their cheek and starts to rot their teeth while they sleep. dunno.

im about to be a dad any day now. she's exploding with baby.

Yeah, I never give him bottles in bed. Once they have teeth, you're supposed to let him drink a little bit of water after dinner so their teeth doesn't rot. Matthew's only got 2 right now, the bottom 2 incisors. We feed him around 7:30 - 8:00ish and I try to put him to bed at around 8:30. I put him to bed last night and he cried for maybe a total of 15 minutes and went to sleep. It wasn't too bad. I think he still knows how to do it since he's done it before. He just needs a refresher course. He still woke up in the middle of the night and cried though. Hopefully after he goes to bed by himself again tonight, he won't wake up crying anymore. The only thing I give him in bed is his little stuffed blues clues thing. I'm not sure if it helps or not.

And good luck Frank. The first 3-4 months are not very pleasant but it's over pretty quick. Plus you can come here to air out your grievances.

I heard that too but never had that problem. I usually would sneak into their room before I went to bed to get the bottles out and they would always be in a different location from the baby.
