no one down here knows wtf housing is. its fukin weird lol. and people use those terms interchangeably. weed whacker obviously is more fun to say though.

But it's not eating anything. It's whacking at the weeds. So weed eater doesn't make any sense. But neither does house. That probably makes even less sense. I guess you can argue that you are "housing" the food in your stomach.

they are different name brands. not all weed whacking/eating utensils are actually weed whackers or weed eaters. those are trademarked catchy names to sell a product. that is all. it isn't an expression. it is like how everyone calls a fukin bandage a band aid.

Reading it on here was the first time I had ever seen it in that context in my life.

Yeah I also haven't ever heard "house" or "housing" used like that. I've also never heard Weed Eater. But there are differences like that everywhere.
