Disappointed that you're going for both of the UFC former 135 guys instead of the new 125ers. Honestly I think the best outcome for this tournament is Uncle Creepy taking it. People view Benavidez and MM as guys who would never be able to beat Cruz and then next thing you know they're the best in a division. While McCall is also a former 135er, the difference is that he left the division/the WEC before the merger, also his last loss was to pre-champion Cruz back when Cruz was on the undercard of WEC fights.

Stupid Comcast doesn't get Fuel TV but I'm getting it on mmamayhem.com.

Missed the first fight, a 2nd rd tko.
And then 2 quick submissions in the next 2 fights.
Looks like fighters are amped up and finishing shit tonight.

Well usually fights with less known fighters are more likely to have a finish. At least one guy is normally untested/new in the UFC and it either becomes painfully obvious that he is below the other dude in skill or he shocks everyone. Also if MMAmayhem fails try firstrowsports.eu

Also Daniel Pineda has been underrated for awhile now, I don't think folks will be underestimating him any more.

You are the MMA master. You know everyone. hahaha
I forget the non-main event guys the day after watching them. I have to look up who people are all the time.

I'm just sitting at my computer enjoying some beers. Strong ones. One more and I'll probably be drunk.

Right after I say it, it goes to decision.
Oh well, it was still entertaining. I just like finishes. DO IT!

Also according to Mike Dolce's twitter Alves was back up to 197.6lbs 3 hours after the weigh ins. That is fucking insane. 27.1lbs gained in 3 hours.

I don't know everyone but I have a decent memory as far as undercards go and I do have some knowledge about some non-UFC fighters.

That fight was meh, all the rounds were kinda close but I think Philippou will get the nod.

I really hope McCall beats MM. MM's last 3 fights were pretty boring. Especially his wins. Also He should have lost the decision to Torres. He made have been on top but Torres was the only one doing anything.

Fuck. Round 1 was so close. I think it was McCall's personally. Round 2 was also close but I gave it to MM and round 3 was clearly McCall.

This fight is the perfect example of why they need a half-point scoring system. Even if you gave MM the first 2 they would have been 10-9.5, the third would have been 10-9 McCall.

On of the biggest issues with the current scoring system. A fighter can win 2 borderline 10-10 rounds and the other fighter can win 1 dominant round and the only fighter who won a significant round loses.

Damn what a come back! Alves was definitely going to win either 29-28 or 30-27 but Kampmann pulled out one hell of a submission.

Wow Johnson and McCall has been scored wrong and will be a rematch according to reports...Reports are saying it should have been ruled a Draw.

Good. I thought what Buffer said was odd. I can't remember the last time a fight was scored a Majority Decision (which mean 1 judge scores it a draw and 2 score it for 1 fighter).

Also I'd like to see the scorecards. I have yet to find a serious source but from some shit I've heard the scores were 28-28, 29-29, 29-28(MM). If that's true the 28-28 is interesting. That means 1 judge scored it 10-9 MM, 10-9 MM and 10-8 McCall. An interesting score. It seems like that judge was scoring the third based on how close the last 2 rounds were. He scored those 2 round 10-9 but so how could he score this round where so much more was done a 10-9 too.

Very interesting. Excited for the rematch. I think McCall uses more wrestling next time and takes it.

Also I do feel a bit bad for MM. You think you won a fight then, nope.

Only picked 5 out of 11 correct since Johnson's win was changed to draw.
Nick got 4 out of 11.

Some real shitty picks by both of us.

Pettis just got completely fucked once again. Edgar just talked (cried) his way into a rematch with Bendo and the winner fights the winner of Jim Miller vs Nate Diaz.

At this point I believe that Frankie Edgar's championship/contender run has done nothing but hurt the LW division. He gets a robbery decision over BJ in 2010 they do an appropriate rematch which Edgar wins (that is all that happened in 2010 with the LW belt). Then he fights Maynard on Jan 1 to a draw so they have to have a rematch, both men get hurt and it gets put off until October (these are the only 2 title fights of 2011). Now he loses a clear decision that was not a robbery at all and complains that since he had to do 2 rematches he should get one. So now he gets one in summer. That means that there is potential that we go 3 years straight in the LW division where 4 people total have fought for the LW strap (BJ, Edgar, Maynard and Bendo). To compare GSP has been out since April 30th 2011 (the Shields fight) and in the same 3 year period from Jan 2010 to now the WW division has had the same amount of fighters involved in title fights (GSP, Hardy, Kos, Shields).

From fucking March 2011-December 2011 the UFC LHW division has had the same amount of people involved in title shots that LW has had since 2010 to now. (Shogun, Jones, Rampage, Machida) and by the time Bendo-Edgar 2 happens (which will still be 4 names) Jones will have fought Rashad at least.

I'm sick of rematches and LW is bursting with potential #1 contenders who suffer because Edgar can't be involved in a fight without controversy requiring a rematch.

Yep. So many heavyweight fights.

JDS vs Overeem
Velasquez vs Mir
Nelson vs Big Foot Silva
Gonzaga vs Del Rosario

Not to mention the debut of Glover Teixeira.

I'm hoping Mayhem looks better against Dollaway. Also this could be Hardy's last UFC fight.
