I read the wiki entry, and I technically got an ending. Hahah.

BTW I said I wasn't going to play it but the first thing I did when waiting for Dem to get home was to continue forward. I need to see how it all plays out.

I honestly haven't played this game since the N64 so half the time I couldn't remember where I was going. It automatically brought me back to freshman year of high school though. It was 1998 all over again with smoother textures. I would like to see more N64 games up scaled to the 3DS. I'm looking at you Shadows of the Empire!!!

I remember playing that over Christmas break and getting near the end of a boss fight and dying. I think you have to start all over! I remember the IG-88 fight being hard as hell. Boba Fett could be hard but once you figured it out it wasn't too much to it. I would also like the old WCW/WWF games on N64 done on the 3DS with updated rosters. I'm sure I remember Star Wars being this great game and if I played it now I'd probably complain about it.

I beat all 20 levels and collected all the star things. I've been working on the bonus levels too, but they may take a while. I'm calling it. (edit: did those too. Didn't take as long as I thought it would. The end of secret 4-1 is awful.) Pretty cool game, though I wish they were a little more creative with their enemy designs. Also, no bosses? lame.

Go read Phil's review.

I don't really remember playing through this game quickly on the N64. I can't remember if I played the game multiple times or if I tried getting the other worlds unlocked. I remember the inclusion of the rumble pack with Starfox and playing 4 player split screen at a friends house. I don't really know why I don't remember much of this game.

I still want to get that if it ever hits 15 dollars one day. SF64 is the best on rails shooter ever created, no contest.

Man, this one wraps up quick. I can't believe they gave up on the bosses for the last section, when the bosses were the best part of this game. I was struggling a bit before, but once I started just chainsawing and punching everybody and going for extra points more sparingly, it got a lot easier. Really cool art style and the music was pretty good too, but hard to hear a lot of the time because of greg proops and bender. They were super annoying. The camera was really really bad.

Hate to say it, but it's probably my least favorite of of Platinum/Clover's games. A mis-step. I hope Anarchy Reigns steps it up and plays like how I wish this game did in the first place.

I turned off the commentary in that game. It was painful.

I didn't even know that was an option. Crap.

Rabbids go Home and NMH2 are up next.

We'll see, I was really enjoying Rabbids. It's kind of like a platformy Katamari game.

Really enjoyed this. I always have a hard time talking about games that I picked up after a long break. I mean, there had to be a good reason that I put this down. The combat is really mashy, but I was having a good time with it. Turning into a tiger and tearing everyone to shreds is really fun, but I wish the roulette wheel provided more different types of bonuses. The bosses were great, and it was cool to play as Henry and Shinobu for a little bit. I was laughing my ass off at the final form of the last boss.

It didn't seem as good as the original when it came to making fun of video game tropes, but there were a few bits that worked really well. Travis is such a weirdo. Screaming MOE constantly. If nothing else, the game made me laugh quite a bit.

WCW/NWO Revenge (N64) - February 3rd

Played through the Heavyweight Title run with Hollywood Hogan.
Basically I just got everyone counted out within 30 seconds of starting the match.
Then when I got to the title match against Scott Hall, I made it a real match and actually finished him with a Leg Drop.
It was just too stinkin' sweet brother!!!

Well we met up at my house before Wing Bowl and its a tradition now to have a couple rumbles to pass the time.
We did one in Revenge, I won with Dake Ken. And we had one in WWF No Mercy and I won that one too with I think another no namer.

EDIT: Actually I don't think No Mercy had the no namers like WCW. I just forget who I won with.

I started my game on my iphone and I couldn't figure out how to transfer my save via the cloud, so I just played through the whole thing on my phone. I read it looked a bit 'low-res' when played on the ipad, but who knows. I'll load it up and see for myself.

All the characters were amazingly likable, even the villains. Those animations, man... some beautiful stuff. The music, the story, everything. This would have been my 2011 GOTY had I played it last year.

Just finished 999 and got the "real ending." I so wish I didn't cheat to see the ending, but shit, it was still amazing. The final puzzle was the most intense/emotional sudoku puzzle I ever solved in my life, and it always will be. Seriously, this shit was borderline genius. It took me a bit to really get into it, but once it got rolling I was loving it. I only have one other ending that I didn't do, I'll probably do it "just because" and because I could blow through it in probably 45 minutes now.

The story really was interesting, and what I love about it is that even though this game is barely a game in the traditional sense, it can only be told the way its told because it's a game. This story would be impossible to tell in a book, show, or film. It can only be done this way.

Mind blown.
