Filming of season 3 has been confirmed and it is to be the show's last. It was announced that Jason Sudeikis will join the cast as Kenny's friend, Shane, as well as Will Ferrell and Matthew McConaughey appearing in the show once again. Ike Barinholtz is set to join the cast as Ivan, a Russian pitcher Kenny takes under his wing. The show was filmed recently in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina at BB&T Coastal Field. Kenny will be joining a team called Myrtle Beach Mermen.

Series finale was last night.
Great ending. I kind of wish that final scene wasn't in it and Kenny just died to end the show. But it was still funny having him come back and realize he could have just invited April to join him in Texas. haha
