Yeah it feels really weird. Same with that ticker thing at the bottom and the football song they keep playing.

Yeah he looked pretty good. Nice seeing him going back to his roots.

This fight should be interesting. I really like both Etim and Barboza. The thing with Barboza is that his last two fights were insanely close decisions. I did have him beating Njokuani (slightly) but I had the Pearson fight scored 29-28 Pearson (also close but not as close).

Etim was pretty young when he lost to Clementi and Tibau and for his loss to Dos Anjos he got subbed after having a serious rib break which then sidelined him for 19 months.

Also hilarious Portuguese intro by Buffer.

Damn he was stiff as a board!

This is the second time in the UFC that Barboza has landed that kick but the first time he just hit the toes and only dazed Njokuani.

That was so nasty...it reminded me of the scene in Harry Potter when Ron was frozen and just fell backwards.

He's actually lucky that he stiffened up like that. If he hadn't he almost certainly would have bounced his head of the ground and the concussion that he definitely has already would be substantially worse.

Mario Yamasaki just completely fucked Erick Silva I don't think a single shot hit the back of his head.

If that was a DQ then there should have been like 30-50 DQs in the UFC last year. Including Nog vs Mir.

Also on that DQ, Yamasaki reffed the Belfort vs Akiyama fight where Belfort knocked out Akiyama with 4 if the most blatant shots to the back of the head ever and Vitor didn't get DQ'd (which was still the right call). The 2 differences were that Silva didn't land any punches to the back of the head, but was warned for it, whereas in Vitor's fight he landed all 4 of those punches before Mario could say anything.

BOOOOOOM! Sick sub by Belfort!

I wonder if this is the end of the line for Rumble?

Unfortunate cage grab by Aldo but all of the Shertards crying that he should have been DQ'd are foolish. He was warned, Mendes did the exact same toss, and Aldo just sprung right back up.

Beautiful knee. I don't think I've ever seen someone move that fast. Amazing!

I'm curious to see how Dana and the Athletic Commission react to him running into the crowd.

Well as a Brazilian in Brazil I'm sure he's fine but it only takes one nut.

I avoided spoilers and then watched all the main card fights on mmshare.
That knockout on Etim was sick. That will live on in highlight reels forever. Aldo's knockout win was awesome too. And his run through the crowd was madness.

This Friday is the first event on FX after leaving Spike TV this year.
And then the next weekend is the first real event on FOX. Not just one fight this time.
So its kind of a big month of UFC. I'll post the FX fight card eventually.

I didn't feel like using wiki so most of the undercard picks are random.

So Guillard is now 10-6 in the UFC with all 6 of his losses coming via choke-submissions. Maybe he should train choke defense...

Good card for a freebie. I went 7-3 on my picks and got all of the main card right.

I loved Nick Denis' KO with the elbows from single collar. Also I hope they finally cut Morecraft after this loss.
