Battlefield 3 - Jan 12

Beat the campaign tonight. Decent game but if you aren't planning on playing the Multiplayer than I would not recommend it. There were some really cool missions near the end but there were also a couple REAL stinkers.

Played through this last night, I technically finished it after midnight so it goes on the 13th. This was a fun little game, definitely addicting and poised to be the next Angry Birds. I still have all the 'Extreme' levels to do (you unlock them as you clear a stage) and I could go back and get Gold stars on every stage so theres a lot of value for $1.99 (cough Pitiri cough). Plus they have weekly free stages that you can get after completing the first 20 worlds.

I didnt realize this was done by the Scribblenauts folks, pretty cool.

Yeah I checked it out and thought it looked fun, figured my daughter would like it if nothing else. Then I ended up plowing through it myself, so yeah its pretty fun. Very simple mechanics, but fun...

Great DLC, it fills in a gap in the main story. The devs also listened to people's complaints about the boss battles and allowed the player to knock out the boss instead of killing them.

Took me fuck ton of playthroughs but I finally beat Mom as Maggy. I can't remember all of my power ups but I definitely had the Chocolate Milk, Ouiji Board, Dead Bird, that ladder thing you buy, Growth Hormones and some other shit. Pretty sure I had full damage and pretty high speed and I had like 7 or 8 hearts.

edit: oh and I definitely had the lump of coal from beating Krampus.

So does that mean I have to beat all of it again? Or do you start off somewhere different.

Also I got the credits so it counts as a beaten game. Any thing else is an extra or an epilog

You start a new game now and there's like 3+ more rooms.

So it's 4 rooms for the final boss instead of 1. I still beat the base game so I'm keeping that up there.

I don't think I beat the heart either. I didn't realize all that new shit opened up. I mean, I know it wants you to keep playing after that, but I didn't get THAT into, though I like it muchly.

There, beat Mom's Heart with Eve. I had an interesting run. I got that map thing early on so I had like 70 coins almost consistently throughout the playthrough. Also I only had 4 heart the whole time. My biggest advantages were the double flies and the cube of meat which really shielded me. Also I traded 2 hearts in at the Devil room to get Brimstone and that vampire thing really helped me out on the heart because I could basically one shot everything it spawned which led to me getting hearts back.

Kirby's Dreamland (3DS) - Jan 18th

I downloaded the game from Club Nintendo. I played one board and thought it was going to be a long game so I continued in Mario 3D Land. Beat the 5 bosses in 10 mins. It makes me think of how much this game must have cost back in the day. I can't believe this game has a few quick levels and then you fight the 4 bosses over again before you fight King Dedede. I would sure have been pissed if I dropped big money on this game!

It was 30 dollars.

Also, try the hard mode, which is actually pretty tough!
