Maybe, I don't really wear watches.

Hahahah perfect.

And I don't really see the point in a watch now that we just carry cell phones on us all the time. I guess unless you just want it as an accessory. Not much of an accessory person myself... I barely even wear my wedding ring.

Dude I couldn't live without my watch... i'd totally feel naked. Worn the same one since like 8th grade. I kind of want to get a nice expensive one now that I'm a "businessman", but fuck it, my timex is pretty much a part of me now.

Besides, I was watching a thing on history or some channel like that today that said the wristwatch was one of the top 50 inventions that changed our lives because it saved the time of pulling a pocket watch out.... now you want to go back to that slow ass method of pulling something out of your pocket to see what time it is? noob.

Actually looked at those, but I wanted a black watch and didn't like the ones I saw.

You stopped wearing your wedding ring? I've gotten pretty used to it now. It feels weird when I don't have it on.

I never wear jewelery either. I couldn't stand it at first. But now I'm used to it. Maybe after a couple of years, I'll start slipping it off haha.

Cash, cash and more cash. Really I don't need much since I'm not living at home and there really aren't any games I need right now. Also got some small little toy things, a Swiss Army knife, and a Keurig single cup coffee machine which is awesome.

My wife and I don't really do a big Christmas. We both basically have all the stuff we need, and since we're still trying to move, we don't want to weigh ourselves down with a bunch of stuff at this point. I got her a cupcake recipe book and a red pearl necklace. She got me some bath towels and a nice personal groomer/beard trimmer thing. Then we went to her parents' hous(es), and got a bunch of stuff that idk if either of us really want or need. Though, her mom got me a really fucking nice KitchenAid Ice cream maker, which is something i've been looking to add to my kitchen for a long time now.

When we first got married I was very serious about wearing it. Like if I left home for work and realized it wasn't on my hand I'd actually turn around and go get it.

I always take it off when I do dishes and get a shower. The problem is I usually forget to put it back on after those.

I take mine off all the time. I never shower with it on. Never wear it in the kitchen, ever (not really sanitary if you're working with raw fish, meat, etc etc). Can't play guitar with it on. I usually wear it to work, though if i forget it, i don't turn back and get it (anymore).

I wore mine for a month, now I wear it when she hands it to me. I usually wear it at all of the holiday parties for her family, but I didn't touch it all weekend. Colleen doesn't care, where the fuck am I going.

I never take my ring off so its not hard to always have it. I shower with it and do dishes. Its tight enough not to fall off.
I even went in the ocean with it on. I don't even think about it anymore. Its just there.

And I started wearing a cheap digital watch when I started college in 2000 and just this year finally gave it up because it broke.
At first I kept looking for the time on my bare wrist but now I'm used to that too and just grab the phone instead.
Its weird that watches are pretty much obsolete and only for style now. I hate fancy watches though. Never owned one. I was all about my 15 dollar digital cheapie. Went through like 5 of those things before finally tapping out.

Yeah, I feel like I should take it off if I'm cooking meat. But it's so inconvenient to constantly take it off and put it back on.

I'm a pretty big watch guy. I've worn one since I was in grade 2 or something (so when I was 8) my wrist feels naked without one. I kind of get the cellphone argument but I look at my watch way more than I look at my cellphone and it's just so fast. I just bring my wrist up a little instead of taking my phone out of my pocket and unlocking it. Also I had a class first semester where no technology was allowed and the dude was such a dick when he noticed people texting so it's nice for avoiding that lol.

Got a big surprise from the mrs for Christmas. Authentic 2011 Cardinals World Series Jerseys w/the patches for David Freese and Lance Berkman.

I was told never to wear them by more than one person in my family. We'll see how long I can hold off.

I haven't even peaked at this book yet, but my wife has been reading it and loves it. She keeps trying to tell herself its horrible and she hates Maddox, yet she has read it every night since Christmas and it always LOLing at it. I told her she should read the Alphabet of Manliness when she's done. She said she would hate it, but I told her she might be surprised. I might be making a new Maddox fan.

If only they would return to me. I don't think I'll ever fully remember what happened yesterday. I still have a slight headache. I barely remember the car ride back home.
