It probably did. You would know. When I went on at work it automatically installed something called Privacy Protection. I thought it was a coincidence but Chrome caught it here and told me to stay away.

This is what I was getting all weekend, you might want to look at your machine. It's possible your PC has a virus and uploaded a jpeg or html file to the server that is infected.

I really hope my anti virus blocked that shit. I got the notification. Looks like I'll be monitoring my credit card activity. I hope that paypal link isn't compromised. The site is https encrypted though.

Paypal is fine. Anything doing with the chipin and paypal is okay, the virus has nothing to do with those. He has something that's compromising his entire site though, it's not just the Clash page.

Stillies, your PC must be shit up pretty badly I'm assuming. Whatever virus is on there must have come from your PC.

I'm a little irritated my antivirus didn't/isn't pick that up.

Scratch that, I looked into my log and saw a shit load of blocked "web threats" from the 17th and 18th.

Not if the virus is loggin' your deets!

It would have to be on my computer which I don't think it was. I'll run a scan when I get home just in case.

I got infected with something a few weeks ago and I wiped my computer with system restore and reupped my mcafee so I guess it did something to the files on my site...wonderful. Sorry guys everything was ok on my end I I got no warning on any of my computers, anyone have any suggestions how to clean up /fix this crap?

i got a similar virus from my normal torrent site downloading last week's american horror story. the thing knew how to disable security essentials and wouldnt allow me to go anywher on the web. had to do a system restore.

I don't know what you would do to clean the files on your site, never had to deal with that problem before. Do you happen to have back ups of your site pre-virus? It might help to just delete everything and upload the old, but clean, files. That's the only solution I could think of.

You gotta lay off the porn sites man.

And Dante, the virus just wants to install that Privacy Protection thing, which is a fake maleware program. The idea is that you put your deets into it so you buy their shitty program to clean up their mess. So that's the only way they're getting your info.

I was actually thinking of redoing my whole site soon anyway...maybe this is a good chance to do that. Sucks man im sorry dudes.
