I got a gift card, a scarf, and a snowboard travel case. I also bought myself a thermal base layer. I almost forgot I got the gift card. I'm going to have to go to the mall and buy myself some clothes.

I got a Blu-Ray player and some movies, most notably the Back to the Future trilogy and LOST Season 6. I got the new book from the chick bass player from White Zombie, its a pictorial with some stories of being on the road in the heavy metal world. I also got an Eagles McCoy authentic jersey, my first one that isn't one of those cheap ones. I got a Dexter shirt and a Paddy's Pub shirt and some other clothes, sneakers and slippers. A John Locke orange peel bobblehead and a huge LOST poster. All kinds of cool beers. My brother got me a small keg of Railbender Ale to hook up at my bar. Thats all I can think of off the top of my head and its already a lot.

Oh and every year my parents buy the wife and I a 17 game plan of Phillies tickets, which is pretty damn expensive. Every year I tell them its too much but they want to do it anyway.

I pretty much didn't get anything this year, aside from a few shirts. Christmas has gotten to that point in my life where it's just all about the kids. I got some money from my parents too, which I'll use for something. I'm considering a new receiver for my living room, or a new tv for our bedroom. Not sure yet.

The fact that all I got was a few shirts also tells me that the people in my life have absolutely no idea what I like.

More gifts added to my haul today. My brother had me for our family pollyanna and bought me Dexter's kill shirt and a Contra T-Shirt. Yay. Also just turned part of a gift card into a pair of boots per JW's suggestion.

yeah i got too much crap too. i dont need any of it but it was fun to open it all up. i got a new coffee maker, a fancy pants wine opener, new socks and undershirts which i love getting, a Lost encyclopedia book which is awesome. my girlfriend got me donkey kong country for the wii and a new stainless steel trashcan for the new kitchen thast happening, and her mom got me a best buy gift card which was awesome too. oh, and a box of candies. it was perfect.

Yes the Galaxy games are awesome. I could see getting burnt out on playing them back to back though, so I'd suggest getting Galaxy 2 and waiting on the first one for a bit and maybe getting something else, like NSMB or DKC Returns. What sort of games does your wife like to play? Are you looking for something like Wii Fit or just something fun for her?

Probably too early, but some of the gifts have already rolled in. Got one of these in the mail

Pretty neat gift, I always lose picks, there's probably a hundred of them around my house.

Its not Christmas yet so I don't think this thread is gonna take off at the moment.
But I actually do have something to add.

My parents get the wife and I a 17 game plan to the Phillies every year. So we already know we got that because we had to renew by the first week of December.
Its a lot of money so I always tell them not to get me anything else... and they always do.

I just got my first gift. My parents had a Bissell sent to my house. Been wanting one of these things to do the carpets thanks to Bensons piss. But I see that it does hard floors too, so I'm already unpacking it and I'm all ready to blast this floor tonight.

Is it sad that I'm pumped over a Bissell?

My wifes parents and me kind of had a checkered past, we had a huge blow up a while back and I think since then they have been trying to make up for it and I think thats why this year they decided for Christmas they are taking us on a cruise in April. We leave the day after Easter, I have never been on a cruise before but I am pretty excited about it. We are going to a bunch of islands including Grand Turks.

No dude, those are fucking AMAZING. I have a dog/cat who track shit into the house all the time, and every once in a while my tortoise gets inside and tracks shit everywhere. Steam that shit right off.

Yay, got a second gift. My boss handed me a card with some of her delicious homemade chocolates. The card has a 20 dollar Amazon gift card in it. I almost spent it the moment I saw it.

So what did Santa end up bringing you guys?

I once again feel like I got too much. Too old to get gifts! My wife bought me Uncharted 3, 999, Maddox's I Am Better than Your Kids (I was shocked she got it. She said she read some of it and thought it was pretty funny), Mario wall decales, t-shirts, and some little things like Zelda capsule toys. My brother in law bought me Dead Space 2. So I'm all gamed up.

I was surprised that the girls had fun this morning. They didn't understand it but they tried to open some gifts and they loved all their toys. Especially these big chairs they got. I hate them. They're seriously like whole pieces of furniture. No idea where they're going to go.
