Trine 2 doesn't really stray too far from Trine 1's gameplay. The only major difference from the first game are the boss battles.

Plays really well, with quiet a solid variety of weapons to get. Art is fantastic. I was a bit disappointed in the story, but it's presented in a very cool, unique way. It's probably around 6 hours, with a New Game+ mode where you keep all your gear and experience. Didn't have many issues with it, but I will say that the last level is really stupid. Weirdly stupid.

I'd recommend it overall though. Especially for $5.

edit: I realized that I just played this in nearly 1 sitting.

I was doing all of them until I got the gunslinger one. I'm using the PS3 controller, and it wasn't registering my intense button mashing. Probably a driver issue. :[

I did more then half of them though.

Looked great and I loved the music. The story was okay, but it was a little hard to follow with all the killing I was doing.

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

Wrapped up Skyward Sword tonight. The ending was really good. I'm not sure the boss gauntlet at the ending topped the Twilight Princess one, but it was certainly awesome. Anyway, pretty amazing game minus a few pacing issues here and there.

Forget the Game of the Year, it is the Game of my Heart.

Finished Actraiser tonight. I still love this game, even if the action stages are a little janky these days. Even though it's not the most well written, I love the stories told throughout the game too. Also, music is soooo good.

I will spill my love for this in much greater detail later in the week.

Goonies 2 for NES haha

so i got a new phone and found a NES emulator app. Scott has every nes game on his computer so i put that folder on to my sd card and downloaded the emulator. Now i have every nes game on my phone. Was playing a little blades of steel last night and started to play goonies as a joke bc the theme music plays thru the entire game almost. I ended up getting into it and wanted to beat it. So i did today haha.

I got a giant mushroom first level which doubled all my stats. Second Level I got an "option". 4th level I got a small rock and something else which increased my damage output. I was in pretty good shape at the end because I found a pill that gave me back all my health.

I did have some good luck with items, yep. Though looking on youtube and seeing the projectile blood vomit attack, it could have been easier.

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

Finished up Shadow Wars last night. Really surprised how much I liked this game. Also, aside from Zelda OOT it's my most played 3DS game and yet its the one I've spent the least amount of money on.

Anyway it's a turn based strategy game that seems to be geared a bit more towards noobs. I usually suck at these games, but I was able to get a grip on this quickly. I admittedly played easy mode for the first 6 or so missions until I got used to it, then I bumped it up to normal which actually felt very fair. Too scared to try hard.

Game is really cheap these days and is worth picking up.

Better than Zero Mission. The only reason I'd rather play Zero Mission is because of it's more open ended nature. Everything else is better in Fusion, and there's no dumb stealth sections. I'm sticking to my guns.
