Wow man, 380 calories is insane. The Kinect version must have you doing more stuff.

Actually now that I'm thinking about it, it's probably figuring out calories burned based on weight and height isn't it?

it ask me for my weight the first workout every week. I never put my height in. Like todays workout said it was going to be 35 mins 390 calories. I did it in 31 mins and 380 calories.

Maybe its picking me up running harder or slower and figuring out my calories burned.

ok so how do i join this community of yours?

I finally broke down and agreed to sony's absurd demands for getting online and can now reach the ea servers.
I've done the 10 minute quick workout a couple times. They're a bit tougher than I expected. Mountain climbers can suck my balls. The foot fires aren't too bad, but I think thats only because in the 10 minute thing you only do them for like 30 seconds or so.

Theres 9 weeks until thanksgiving. I'm going to keep doing my normal routine at the gym and add the 9 week EA program in. I've consistently been losing just over 2 lbs/week on average on my own. I know I'll be hitting a plateau soon though, so I'm hoping the double routine will let me lose another 20 lbs by Thanksgiving. Then I can eat like a fucking hog and start over with the 30 day program before Christmas ha ha.

Nice man. I'll send you the invite for the community tonight when I play it.

Yeah Footfires and mountain climbers are just brutal, especially when they start to pile them on. In my last work out I had to 140 (I think 140) Foot Fires, then right into 75 mountain climbers. That combo popped up again like two more times after that. It was hard as shit.

Cool to see you're doing good with your weight loss. I think this game will help, especially since you're already doing good.

First off, tonight was killer. Had the Foot fires, mountain climbers, skipping combo. Foot fires was 240 reps, mountain climbers was 75 and skipping was 90. Three sets of each. Good lord.

Second, I completed 50 workouts and DIDN'T get my 50 workout trophy. Uhhhh lame. Guess we'll see what happens tomorrow.

What a bummer, it's not letting me have my 50 workout trophy. It's stuck. It's not even moving up for the 100 workout trophy either. Sucks that EA dropped support on this game so quickly because it's buggy as shit and could use a serious patch.

In the meantime, started a new 9 week program on hard. It kinda stinks because it's knocking me back to easier workouts as a result. I was getting used to the harder ones. Setting it on Hard is like starting on the second section of the 9 week program. So the third section will probably be the hardest thing the game has to offer.

The first 2 days I did the EA thing and my normal thing in the evening. It fucking sucked balls. I get home from work at 6-6:30, by the time I grab something to eat, get the game fired up and do a 20-25 minute workout (which I still need to see tutorials so it takes 30 minutes+), then drive out to the gym and do 30-40 minutes there, I don't get back home until like 9:30. I've been trying to go to bed before 10:30 recently too and I just have too much energy after the workout to go to bed that early.
This morning I woke up early and did my EA workout before getting a shower. I'm so glad it was only a 20 minute upper body thing. I was beat from the previous night. I'm hoping I can get into a rhythm though and keep it going in the morning.
Also, I don't recommend doing these workouts in just boxers.... I thought I would have more freedom to stretch and shit, but I really could've used some support this morning and not the verbal kind.

My plan is after i get married and get on jennas insurance i wanna get knee surgery and play hockey again haha. So i need to get my fat ass in running shape again haha. I hoping in a year and a half ill be back out there.

yea i know two torn acl's from playing hockey and i should stop.........but i wont

It would probably be a bit of work on your part, but if you looked online you could probably find custom routines people have made that you can use for running and that sort of stuff instead of relying on the preset workouts in 3/9 week programs.

Also, the game finally decided to give me the 50 workout trophy last night... after completing 52 workouts. Whatever, I'll take it. Some of the trophies in this game are absurd man. Even after I do the 9 week workout a second time I still won't have them all. I don't think I'll ever get mountain biking or boarding, there's just so much left on them.

HAHAHAHA one of the hardest. Some days I can plow through a set of mountain climbers, other days I get like halfway through and just drop on the ground for a moment or two to recover. So hard.

Might not be on the Kinect one because you need to be on the ground. Do they have any exercises where you're on the ground, like reverse crunches or crunches with punches?

pushups, v sit crunches and like arm planks

you do them on your own with the guy instead of the sensor trying to pick it up. There was an update that got rid of that. Before the update it was a mess bc the sensor cant find ya on the ground.

Mountain Climbers really didn't work too well for me, it thought I was doing more then 2 at a time sometimes. There was another exercise, forget what it was called but it was sort of a tricep extension, the sensors weren't picking my arm movements up too well. That was sort of frustrating, this game does a good job of getting your heart rate up and working up a sweat though.

Oh okay so the ground ones basically use an honor system. That make sense.

And Bowie that's my biggest problem with the game, I hate when it doesn't pick anything up. I have the same issue on triceps extensions and other ones similar to that. I just do the amount it tells me to do and then pick skip exercise. It blows because you don't get the in game credit for it but oh well.

Some days are better than others though, and I don't know why. There are times where I have no issues with the sensors, and then there are days where nothing is fucking working. I don't get it.
