What is The Rock thinking? He finally dropped that from his name and now he's back to wrestling.

[quote="Johnny Manf"]And Taker won with the worst looking triangle choke I've ever seen. Big disappointment.[quote]

It's called a gogoplata, it's similar to a triangle but you put your shin under their neck and pull their head down into it. It's actually a legitimate BJJ move. It's never been pulled off in the UFC but you can find videos of Nick Diaz doing it to Takanori Gomi (then he tested positive for weed and it became a NC), and the huge MFer from TUF 2 that Rashad beat to win it had a little streak of winning by Gogoplata.

Also Taker's is weird, it's kind of a Triangle/Gogoplata combo. He hooks his foot to make it looks cooler even though in the real move you don't.

you know why its weird b/c its fake haha. Unlike the UFC he isnt really trying to make him tap. It was such a dumb way to end that match. Just made that snoozefest worse.

Fuck IE, I wrote this whole thing about how the only good subs to end a WWE fight are the Crippler Crossface and (sort of) the Walls of Jericho and Ankle Lock.

IE decided to delete everythng I wrote so fuck rewriting it.

I watched the new Tough Enough and Austin was great. He picked the three weakest and had to eliminate one of them and just went off on this great rant. The one chick kept fixing her pants when she was running the ropes and Austin was not happy about it. He was yelling about how he wrestled Yokozuna, shit himself when he got bodyslammed, and finished the match because that is what you are supposed to do. I loved it.

Quote:
WWE issued a statement on their corporate website announcing that Triple H
and The Undertaker were both fined for going against company policy during
their match at WrestleMania last Sunday. During the match, Triple H landed a
sick chair shot to the head of The Undertaker with Taker putting his hand up
just in time to soften the blow. "WWE penalizes through fine and/or
suspension for violation of this policy, which is unchanged and still in
effect," read the statement. The WWE banned chair shots to the head -
protected or not - following the Chris Benoit double murder-suicide a few
years ago. Banning such hits minimizes the risks of a possible concussion.

damn do i hate today's wrestling world.....

Yeah I knew that ever since they went PG, they stopped doing blood and using bad language, but I had no idea they stopped doing chair shots to the head.
When I was watching Wrestlemania they showed a commercial for their next event which is Extreme Rules. Thats gonna be terrible with a PG rating.

Oh wow I never knew they went PG either. Crazy. Man if they went PG they might as well go back to the cartoon character wrestlers. I'd watch it again.

yeah they switched like a year ago when Linda McMahon was starting her campaign for Senate. It was right around the time I stopped watching it.

HAHAH as if that last minute switch would really help her out. Like there isn't years and years of slop before that.

A PG WWE is pointless. I want to see mankind getting thrown off a steal cage busting through a table. Then I want to see him get up while medics try to roll him out, climb back up, and get chokeslammed through the cage on a metal chair. And Thumbtacks, lots of them.

Basically TNA is what WWE used to be from the sounds of things.

Haha, I went to a Ring of Honor show. It was okay.

edit: It was also full of some of the ugliest people I've ever seen in my entire life.

If you get the Fight Network you get to see some super underground MMA and Wrestling matches. They are so bad that they are good. I always watch them while I hope on the exercise bike at my gym to warm up.
