Sucker Punch is getting absolutely shit on.
I still want to see it in theaters because it seems like one of those visual movies where I need the big screen.
I might go by myself on Sunday. haha

I didn't like 300 that much, but I just really like the whole crazy vibe of this movie. Looks like an out of control live action anime or something. I guess the typical dude in me just wants to see hot girls blowing up robots, samurai, dragon's and nazis.

My hype died down a bit when I discovered it was a secret musical (which they're hiding from the looks of it), and now the reviews are even worse than I imagined. I think it's at like a 23%, and some guy even went as far as to say it was Airbender bad. Though it's gotta be better than Airbender.

hmm..i was excited for suckerpunch..saw an awesome extended trailer before archer last night. its a fukin musical? well this one is going to be a download then. Thank you internets for saving me monies.

So I heard that Sucker Punch isn't a musical, but that it has musical montages. So no one is singing and dancing. A guy I work with saw it and he said it was one of the worst things he ever saw. He said if it was just the girls fighting robots and nazi's it would have been awesome, but that everything around it was terrible. Somewhat of a spoiler but apparently she's in the mental institute as we know, but then she imagines herself in a brothel to escape the institute. At the brothel she does these "amazing" dances, and when she does her dances THAT's when she imagines herself whooping the crap out of things. You don't actually see the dance, just the whooping. So she is imaging inside of her imagination. I will say, now I'm curious to see it just to see if it's as awful as everyone says. It doesn't sound so hot.

I might see it tonight.
I knew it wasnt a straight up musical. But they do their own take on popular songs (like Moulin Rouge) and then a dream sequence starts.
The dream sequences are the awesome looking green screen parts from the trailer. Basically all the good parts.
