I've read a bunch of books since the last one posted here.

Jurassic Park was pretty awesome, I haven't seen the movie in full, in so long, but I don't remember 75% of the book being in the movie. Definitely an awesome read, only 300ish pages.

Yeah man, the book is pretty damn awesome. There's so much other stuff in it that wasn't in the movies.

I read the first Narnia book, from what I remember, the movie was pretty spot on.

I also tried watching Jurassic Park today, shut it off an hour in. I don't know that movie just doesn't do anything for me. Those kids are so fucking annoying.

Time for a Storm of Swords. All of my friends tell me this is the best book in the series so far. I can't wait!

How far are you Nate? The last chapter I read was amazing. It's an Arya chapter, around 475 in the paperback, maybe you've passed it. Beric Dondarrion vs. The Hound. Best fight ever. This book is fucking incredible.

edit: Also, Daenerys taking the slaves was incredible also.

I'm reading Mass Effect Revelations right now. I bought it well over a year ago and I tried getting into it on a few occasions, but it wasn't until a week a go that I really made a serious push through the book. The ME universe has so many layers to it, I really think of all the modern games out there it has the best lore (other than Warcraft, of course). I'm going to have to play through the rest of the DLC packs too.

I'm only about 175 pages in, on a Jon Snow chapter. I think the Arya and Tyrion chapters are my favorites.

350 pages into 'A Feast for Crows' and it's kind of a turd.

It doesn't get much better from what I'm told, Dante. Storm of Swords is where it's at.

Oh and I read that Hound vs Beric part. Fucking insanity!

I started reading "I'm In The Band: Backstage Notes from the chick in White Zombie" and its pretty interesting since WZ is my favorite band. Its like a big paged picture book with little paragraphs describing what you're looking at. You get a history of WZ and cool old school photos and posters and info. I'm only about 30 pages in but its cool stuff for fans like myself.

I bought World War Z and Rant (Chuck Palahniuk). Hopefully I can get around to reading them soon.

Chris Jericho's new book came out today. Its called 'Undisputed: How To Become a World Champion in 1,372 Easy Steps.'
Its supposed to pick up right where his last book left off, when he joined WWE.
I need a new book soon and I never read his original so maybe I'll pick both up and do a back to back Jericho session.

I liked his first book, but I don't think I'd be interested in reading any more from him. I imagine book 2 is just about how great he is, where as book 1 was about how he became great.

I might have to borrow it from you for my Jamaica trip so I have something to read on the plane. Is that cool?

Definitely going to pick it up. I loved his first book, which was all about his journey to WWF/E. This one is all about his journey from that point on, which still had it's own struggles and ups and downs.

He was great and very candid about WCW locker room, I'm sure he'll be the same for the WWE too, which I can't wait to read.

Yeah the WCW parts were my favorite parts of the whole book, most likely because that's when I started to love Jericho. So I was able to remember the situations he was talking about. It was great how much he hated it. Pretty impressive how he made the most of it over there despite them trying to keep him down. He clearly made a shit ton of fans during WCW because his WWF entrance was just insane when that happened.

Picked up Jericho's book today and met him at a book signing in New York...Couldn't have been a nicer guy and signed both his new book and I brought his first book and he signed that one too. Going to start reading this tonight.

Good old Borders... we won't be seeing too many of them in the future.

Read the first 3 chapters of Undisputed last night and I already love it. In three chapters I found out Jericho got his back to the crowd crucifix pose from a 93' Michael Jackson concert he saw in Mexico, His first bodyguard in WWF Mr Hughes was a narcoleptic, WWF wanted to call the Walls of Jericho The Y23 and his first match in WWF was a nightstick on a pole match against big boss man at a house show. In the first bump of the match the nightstick fell down. Its great so far, behind the scenes shit was goig awful for Jericho in WWF and its going to be interesting to see where it goes from here.
