Yeah, but DSes (almost) never break unless you treat them like shit. FACT

I bought Black Ops. Yeah, I'm weak. I do get to play with a lot of friends that don't normally play games though, so that's cool.

That makes it even worse, haha. If they broke and you bought another, that's understandable!

I'd have to go with Dante here. Buying 3 DSes seems slightly worse to me than buying 3 xboxes because they broke.

Haven't you bought like 3 seperate DS's, Phil? You know it'd be more if any of them had broken.

I have technically bought three DS systems, but the original (DS Phat) was not for me. I bought that for my wife the year it came out as a Christmas gift because she wanted a Gameboy. Thought she would appreciate the DS more. As a result, I didn't buy many (any) games for it for about a year until I sort of took it over (when I noticed she wasn't playing it much). I did buy a DS of my own a year before the DSi came out, and then I bought the DSi when that came out. So only two.

Also, I sold my DSLite (got 100 bucks for it) that I put toward the DSi. In hindsight, I probably could have waited on the DSi. I like it a lot, but DSi Ware is basically a bust. Still, I only had two DS' to call my own and I sold one for an upgraded one.

People on their 4th or 5th Xbox, I still say it's ridiculous. I'm not so much saying the people are ridiculous, just that the machine is a pile of shit.

In other news... Splatterhouse came out today. No idea this was even coming out. This game has to be awful. but hearing that the three original games are unlockable in it is pretty cool

I'm on Xbox #3 but I have had one repaired and I have another sitting in a closet that was acting a bit funny but never actually red ringed.

So this summer I slowly scrounged enough pieces of an Xbox together; console, each cable, controller were all gotten at different points. I had a guy I know fix it's red ring of death and mod it for me, so now I just grab whatever game I want. I'm careful about the mod, I've had it since the summer and no problems yet. Just thought I'd say the 360 is a pretty sweet system, being a closet Nintendo elitist back in the day I think those are big words hahaha!

If you didn't see it in the Gamertag sticky, add me I'm Gregenheim!

That was the route I took when I got an Xbox. I had a wired 360 controller for years that I bought for my PC and in the case I got an Xbox, bought just the used console off LouieB, and then bought component cables from Toys R Us. No fancy modding or anything like that though.

Also, to this day I still only use the wired controller. Once in a while I think about buying a wireless one, but I never end up doing it.

My 360 controller is the only thing from my 360 that gets any use...

I used to have a wired controller, but the left stick got crushed by mass amounts of Call of Duty playing. Click to sprint FTL.
