thanks to joe for getting this out the door so quick.

listening back to this one foreshadowed how the rest of my night and the following day would go for me. at the start of it i mention how my breath is suddenly bad, and at the end i say something like how im burping up burgers all night long. at 3AM i wound up puking my guts out and spending the entire next day in bed sick. i was doomed before i even knew it.

Amazing! Just amazing!

- I clicked on your about us section... was actually dissapointed that you didn't post a bio of everyone haha. It'd be awesome if you guys all wrote a bunch of bullshit biographically about yourselves even.

- Steve's?! theory about aliens being time travellers, YES YES YES. I had the same idea for years now, but my fellow nerds refused to even listen to it. bwahaha.

- We will always want punishments

- Love how you guys have been relaxing your standards in terms of what is acceptable to say haha. There were a few moments where I thought each of you were channeling Sith Lord.

- Phil, Back to the Future 2 and 3 are both good films. Two is the best in the franchise, 3 is the worst. (everyone else can bite my Richard)

There might be some shit I'm forgetting to comment on. Maybe I'm commenting too much.

I'm just really glad to see that you guys are back!

Yeah I don't really care what order you love them in, just as long as they are all loved.

hahaha, 2 is definitely NOT the best. 1 is. I think the only reason people love 2 is because of the flying cars and the hover board. Story wise, 1 is superior.

I would agree with that statement. I basically like them in order 1, 2 and 3... but I still like them all.

The flying cars and hover board are awesome, but there is a lot to like about 2. They got way more complex with the time travel by introducing the idea of alternate timelines and time paradoxes.

The future segment is probably the weakest part of the movie these days (as it's aged poorly, but they knew that which is why they didn't stick around there for long). And it was really clever how much of the movie takes place around the dance again.

I've come around to Part 3 for a lot of reasons. One, it goes back to the more simple roots of 1 and follows a pretty similar formula (much in the same way Ghostbusters 2 follows the same formula as the first movie) so it's easier to focus on the characters as opposed to focusing on all the time hoping from Part 2. I also really like how it's Doc Browns story in 3 as opposed to it being about Marty. And then finally I just like that they decided to make BttF into a western.

It's probably one of the strongest trilogies ever made. I love it.

I'm going to be honest. Aside from the future shit, I didn't much care for the second one.

I just loved the kind of view they had of the future when they made that film.

Storywise, hands down number one. Still, I'll put in the second more often just to see the future stuff. I usually turn it off after that though haha.

Three was alright too but, enh, the time period didn't have much to capture my interest.

Besides, it's like they created a formula for BttF by the time they got to the third one.

1) Go back in time 2) Break the time machine 3) Solve problem with family (or ancestors) 4) Dump biff or his ancestors into a pile of shit 5) Go back to the future which is actually the present. 6) Everything is awesomer when you get back home.

Well in the case of 3, when they went back to the future is was the same future as the end of Part 1.

We also find out Doc brown is alive and has a flying, time travelling train. I count that as awesomer. Plus having the delorian get destroyed has to take a load off for Marty, after all the shit he went through I'd probably never want to see the fucking thing again either.

To get really nerdy, the one thing I don't like about BTTF2 going to the future is that it kind of defies the rules the film as set up. Doc Brown comes back and tells Marty he needs to help his son in the future, HOWEVER if Marty went to the future following the rules set up by the first film, Marty Jr and his family would cease to exist because Marty leaving would mean that Marty had gone missing for 30 something years. It's a little plot point that always kind of bothers me, but I accept it. However if it followed Lost's logic of time travel of "What happened happened" than present Marty could interact with his future self and children. Though if it followed Lost's logic of "What Happened Happened" then Marty would never have been able to alter his present going back in time in the first place.

Time travel is awesome. I love the different rules people thought up.

Well, the only reason why he started to disappear in the first one was because he actually interfered with his parents meeting.

There's no reason to believe going to the future would have that effect, only so long as historically it was already written that Marty would go back to the present eventually. If Marty got killed in the future, then the future wouldn't have been able to happen. Which would probably make the universe explode or something.

I guess that's true. I could buy into that theory.

Fixed it. He just says whatever pops into his head. I don't even think he thinks about it.

Also, apparently Christian comedy sucks.
