Oh well, today is a new day and I am going with a bunch of AFC Teams this week:

NEW ENGLAND -14 Buffalo (A Pissed off Brady against Buffalo. Enough said.)

BALTIMORE -10.5 Cleveland (Baltimore is also pissed and Flacco can't be as bad as he played last week)

CINCINATTI -3 Carolina (For the record, I think Carson Palmer stinks, but I do like the Bengals defense and they give Jimmy a rude welcome to the NFL)

WASHINGTON -4.5 St. Louis (Washington should have won last week and they are not happy about it. Mcnabb looked the best I've seen in years. Combine this with that Defense and you have a 31-17 Washington Victory)

Lets just erase last week from the record because everything that was posted on here went sour. It's a new week and we need to turn things around starting with Thursday night football action.

I like Oklahoma State -3 over Texas A&M. Oklahoma State has won the last two meetings and are at home in this one. Their offense has been on a roll to start the season, while Texas A&M had some troubles in a 27-20 win last week. I expect this one to be close, but for Oklahoma State to win by the four points needed.

Given my recent betting history though, you might want to hop on Texas A&M.

Last week is what I like to call the Bookie Beatdown. We will have to turn things around this week and I agree with your Oklahoma St. pick, however I will most likelyl stay away from this game. I'll post my Saturday College picks as we get closer to the weekend.

Agree with all your picks except Clemson. I think Miami has more talent overall and will get the job done at Clemson:

MIAMI -3 Clemson

FLORIDA ST -6.5 Virginia

OHIO ST -17 Illinois (How can you not take Ohio St? They have covered every week, reminds me of the Eagles back in 2004)

TEMPLE -6 Army (Not sure if Bernard Pierce will play, but still like Temple here)

IOWA -7 Penn St (I'm a huge Penn State fan, but they get whipped by Iowa every year)

Upset Special: NC STATE +3.5 Virginia Tech (I don't know if you can really call this an upset because the Wolfpack look fantastic right now)

I wanted to take Ohio State, but after watching sportscenter this morning Lou Holtz reminded me that Ohio State struggles in that stadium, so I think they still win, but maybe not as big.

Your probably right about the PSU game too, I just don't think Iowa is that good either.

Only one bet for me today after pushing the OK-Texas A&M game. I'm not buying the Texas bounceback hype. I think they will play better this week but not keep up with OK. I got it at -3 for Oklahoma and I i'm looking to get back on track with a nice win here.

I had a goo Saturday going 2-0 with Oklahoma and Alabama and are hoping to carry that over to this week. We have Wednesday action with Central Florida -12 against UAB. From what I have read I am leaning towards Central Florida in this one since they have the better defense. I will look closely later tonight before deciding if I want to put a small play on this one.

Great start in this one as UCF as off to a 21-0 halftime lead. Lets hope it sticks and we keep rolling into Thursday action.

UCF wins big 42-7 which gives me three in a row. Gotta keep the hot hand going with some action today. I always like Thursday night action and we have a good one with Nebraska and Kansas State. Both teams enter 4-0, but Nebraska is a 12 point favorite on the road. If you look back at the rivalry, Nebraska has owned it and in many cases won big. I look for Kansas State to come out with a lot of energy early and keep this close at halftime, but I think Nebraska's defense is just too good to let Kansas stay around too long.

And if I have learned one thing from JW it is to hang your hat on the team with a better defense. Time to make it four in a row.

I'm taking Rays(Sheilds) over Texas(Wilson) tonight and Giants(Lincecum) over Braves(Lowe).

NHL starts tonight too, but I haven't seen any lines yet.

I'm also going with Nebraska tonight. That defense will give Kansas St. fits and if they can't get their running game going, the game will be over. The spread has come down from 12 to 11 so that worries me somewhat, but there's still plenty of time in the day for it to jump back up.

Also I like Tampa/Texas over 8 today. Shields has been getting hammered lately and Texas is a team that rakes. Add on to that Tampa's need to win and I think we see some fireworks here.

Nebraska spread dropped again to -10.5. Looks like people are expecting Kansas St. to make this a close game. No doubt they come out fired up, but if the Nebraska defense makes a statement early, I expect them to run away with this game.

BTW, I LOVE UCONN tomorrow against Rutgers. I don't care what the spread is, Rutgers can't score points and UCONN is just a better overall team.

As I expected Nebraska is just killing it on the ground. They are going to end up with over 400 yards rushing. This one looks set for a win which gives me four straight in college football. Safe to say the bookie beat down is over.

Also I like where your head is on UConn and think I will follow with a small pay on that.
