I just dont attach the bag to my mower anymore. It seems to work pretty good for me. It never stalls or anything.

Good Lord I spent pretty much all day doing yard work. Totally raked out everything in my garden. Planted some new bushes that are duds now but they should grow to decent size. Laid down a stone barrier between the garden and lawn. Threw down all kinds of soil and new mulch. I had to do it in shifts. Didnt buy enough stuff last night so I went to the movies, then to Home Depot again, came home and finished. Looks pretty damn good. Hopefully they dont grow too out of control.

So Friday morning I had to mow the lawn because it was out of control. I mow the lawn every two weeks, but since we had an insane amount of rain, the grass and weeds were unreal this time around. We're supposed to "mulch" our grass in our town which is what I try to do. So anyway, I could only cut like a strip of grass, I'd need to stop the mower and then rock it back and forth and hit it a few times to get all the clumps of grass out so it wouldnt clog the thing up. It took me forever to mow the lawn and I ended up with these huges piles of wet, nasty, grass.

When I was finished I took these giants piles and threw them into a trash can and set it on the curb. I don't know if my town is going to take this. All I know is, the can fucking smells like a wasteland. It's the worst smell ever. I was out walking the dog last night and I smelled it probably like 100 feet away. It is unbelievable. I put the lid on it when it rained yesterday but the wind knocked the lid off and it got rain in there anyway. I can only imagine how bad its going to smell when I come home from work today once it has baked in the sun all day.

I honestly don't know what to do with it. I know the town isn't going to take it, and if they do, they will hate me forever.

They might put a letter on your door telling you that they don't take it and what your options are. I tried sneaking in bags of grass underneath my real trash bags but they caught on to it after a couple weeks so now I just let it fly everywhere. When I get a new mower someday I'll get one that purposely mulches your lawn. Right now I just have the bag off and it clogs up a few times.

I mowed and weedwhacked on Thursday and it took me a really long time. I havent had to do it in about a month or longer because my grass is dead. But the rain reactivated all the weeds so it was rough. I also have to weedwhack my non-lawn areas of rocks near my shed and backdoor because it gets ridiculous. I sprayed it a lot with weed killer after i was done so that should kill it for a couple months. I'm ready to just use it on my whole lawn because I just dont care. haha

The township trucks might pick it up, if they feel like it. We're constantly leaving sticks and shit on our curb and they'll randomly drive by in a NP truck and throw them in the back.

They stopped collecting grass like a year or two ago and told us to mulch our lawn with the grass clippings or dispose of it on our own.

It's that time of the year again.

Dude my yard has been completely taken over by weeds. Weeds and plants I've never even seen before. I don't know what happened this year from last year, but the yard is just out of control. I'm willing to say my yard is now 25% grass and the rest is weeds. The actual grass wasn't high but the weeds were like already up to my knees in certain areas.

I haven't cleaned the dog shit in about a month so I tried to find obvious ones and decided to just wear a crappy pair of shoes and suck it up and step in shit while I mowed. But the weed juice was so thick that despite stepping in an ungodly amount of shit it actually just slid off of my feet. It was like a dog shit shield under my shoes. I thought the mower was going to just stall out but it never did. I had do a lot of stop and shakes to get all the clippings out from under it. Though in this case it's not clipping, just big chunks of cooked spinach.

Anyway I didn't have much time so I tried to get through everything as quick as I could. The yard looks a lot better but it still needs serious help. I was actually going to call out today and do the yard all day, but I read it was going to storm all day. Well it's not supposed to rain at all now. Mother fucker.

I mowed my lawn yesterday and as I was doing it decided this is the year I finally clean up my yard....
I'm going to take my chain link fence down for a while, clean up all the shit around and underneath it, lay down some edging work, then put the fence back up.
I've got a tree which is just sprawling branches everywhere that I tried trimming the past 2 years.... I think this year I'm just taking a chainsaw to the mother fucker, same with the shrubbery. I think maybe I'll take some pictures.

Yeah its almost mowing time for me. I saw a big patch of weeds that were high already.
I dont even think I have grass in my backyard, its 100% weeds at this point. I should just kill it all.
And most of the dogshit turns hard and into dust so whenever I go out there after months of not picking it up, its still not so bad.
Its natural fertilizer now. haha

Its probably making my weeds grow bigger.

Is that shit pet safe? I was thinking of putting it down myself. You don't need to do anything fancy with it right, just spread it around and thats that?

Hmmm, seems like it should be fine then. I know one thing, I really want to play some flowers and shit in my terrible "flower bed" areas I have. They're so ugly. I just want it to look nice.
