Looks fine from the nerdlog, looks like that from the forums.

I know. I was going nuts last night trying to find what file to edit that I just gave up. I asked Steve so I'm just waiting for him to get back to me.

Thanks though!

I know I mainly use subsilver as well, but I want my custom shamoozal one to work properly when people arrive.

HAhaha the new buttons tripped me up hardcore. I subconsciously moved my mouse up to where "smorgasboard" normally is and clicked between Episodes and Forums.

Hahaha, it was a hard change to make. But I'm learning stuff about SEO and all that garbage at work so I want to see if it works. Apparently if people don't understand something, they won't click it, so I chose to just name it forums.

Also, people love clicking on green too, hence why I slowly changed key things to green (and I also tested the two front page buttons with one green and one yellow).

Oh, anyone like the slightly revised look? I was going to make a whole new blog template, but once I started digging in I realized how much custom work we've done with our current structure.

the sides are too bland.... the old yellow background seemed to slow down loading of pages for me, but now this gray just feels boring with all the yellow popping around it. Then again my resolution is pretty high, so there's like 5-6 inches of gray on each side of my 23" monitor.

HAHA, I didn't even notice that you changed the background until it was mentioned just now. I was about to get angry, but if I didn't notice it before then I guess it doesn't matter that much.

I probably wouldn't have noticed/cared either if it didn't consume half my screen.

I sorta liked the yellow splash background but I decided it was too noisy. Decided to just go with a simple gradient. Plus like you said, things load quicker. I also adjusted some of the colors on the banner to help make it pop a bit more and not be so flat.

I loved the crazy background. This is a downgrade in my eyes.
My computer is fast enough where it didnt seem to slow anything down.

Yea same haha. I noticed the button was fixed, but then I was like, "something is off here..." It took me about 3 minutes to realized but once I figured out the background was missing it made me die inside a little haha. If people want speedy loads they can use that subsilver garbage.

I get why you are making the changes Phil. You are trying to get more exposure for the site, and newbies might be thrown off by things like "Smorgas Board" and "awesome background design".

Phil, heading mainstream!

Well that can already happen and I did have a Wii section, remember?

It's just about usability.

It's not that it isn't called the Smorg anymore, just that "forums" leads to the smorg.

Did you change the flash detection script?

The flash banner is no longer showing up for me, even though all other flash stuff is working.
