Had no idea this was on Sunday. Last event was really good. The small guys can really battle. For those that don't know, WEC is basically UFC's smaller guys, some 155's and lower.

That main fight was fucking retarded. 1st things first, Varner won round 1-2 easily. Then on top of that Kamal hits Varner square in the nuts 3 times (3 of the worst nut shots I've ever seen).

After all of that it goes: 29-27 Varner, 29-27 Kamal, 28-28 (Cecil Peoples was this one)

Fucking retarded. That means one judge scored all three rounds for Kamal and Varner DOMINATED round 1.

This event marks WECs first visit to Las Vegas since WEC 45 in December 2009 and will also be shown on the Versus channel.

Urijah Faber was expected to make his bantamweight debut against Japanese striker Takeya Mizugaki. However, Faber was forced off the card with an injury. As a result Mizugaki was also pulled from the event. The Faber/Mizugaki bout is expected to simply be pushed back, possibly as early as WEC 52.

Stephan Bonnar will serve as color commentator for the event along with Todd Harris.

Man I love WEC the fights are so exciting. Of the 5 fights there was only one I didn't really care for (Swanson vs Mendes) and that's cause Medes reminds me too much of Sonnen with his lay n pray shit.

The first 2 fights and the title fight were absolutely insane. Especially the Jorgenson fight.

Only 2 more WEC events before they merge with UFC. Not sure if I can watch this one because my DVR is already filled with a shitload of Thursday night shows. There's been a lot of injuries so 2 of the fights on the poster arent even happening.

That kick was fuckin awesome.
Unfortunately, I wanted to see some knockouts and didn't get any.
The Cruz/Jorgensen fight was good. Cruz is ridiculous with his cardio. That guy moves around so much for 5 rounds. Still, I wanted to see someone finish a fight.

Cowboy Cerrone got it done. That was the only finish on the TV broadcast, submission though. Everything else was decision. Boooooo!

Well fights rarely end in KO at the lighter weightclasses. Former Bantamweight champ Eddie Wineland knocked the fuck out of Ken Stone on the prelims though, Stone tried a guillotine and Wineland dropped him on his head, they were seriously concerned about his health.
