the gorillaz are a pretty unique and rare thing, an animated band with experimental music? that dominated the charts for a couple years then dropped off the scene. So they're coming back with a new album march 9th, and i'm fucking pumped to see some of their great animated music videos!

I'm actually going to go see them when they play at coachella in april, I've never been to that festival, but the gorillaz are a big inspiration growing up for animating.

Cool find, I wish it was set up better though. I exited the page by mistake and now I gotta start it over.

If you're feeling a little more dubious, it's available through other channels as well... >.>

I think my favorites on the album are Rhinestone Eyes and the title song "Plastic Beach".

This is the first Gorillaz album I've ever owned. I've only heard their singles in the past. I'm diggin it a lot.

Shoot. I missed any chance to hear it stream from beginning to end.

But I do like the singles I've heard. I'll probably pick this one out soon. The video was great, even if the band looks super creepy in 3D.

This album is growing on me. I used to not like Sweepstakes, cause I thought Mos Def kept yelling it too much, but after listening a few times, I dig the lyrics.

Empire Ants is another goodie.

I'm happy with my purchase.
