I'm watching CNNs coverage of the Jackson memorial. It's kind of crazy watching the hearse driving around knowing he's in there.

I counted eight phantoms which equals to about 3 million dollars of car on the road.

I really like what Al Sharpton said to Michael's kids. "I want his children to know there was nothing strange about your daddy, it was strange what your daddy had to deal with."

The only thing strange is why people even listen to Al Sharpton, the dude is a fucking tool.

I hate Sharpton. MJ made a point to not deal with race issues. Just look at his song Black or White, the dude finally just wanted to say IT DOESNT MATTER. He just wanted everyone to be the same. But Sharpton is making it like MJ did what he did for black people everywhere. Sure, he might have helped "break a barrier" but in no way did he ever say that is what he was trying to do. He just wanted to entertain Planet Earth and not have to deal with people saying he was a hero to blacks or whites or whatever color.

Al Sharpton is the whore daddy of the millenium.

and then him and douchebag Jamie Foxx are saying "Michael was ours first and then he crossed over" or some bullshit. get the fuck over it.

Yeah I agree that Sharpton is a tool, I just thought what he said to MJ's kids was really awesome.

I thought what he said was nice and what the daughter said at the end nearly made me cry. I agree what Jamie Foxx and Al Sharpton have been saying about Al Sharpton belonging to us first is wrong. That just divides races instead of making us come together to honor his life.

I don't think all the questionable things Al sharpton has done in the 21st century has erased all the good he did in the civil rights movement. My entire family compares Al Sharpton to a World War 2 Vet, still wanting to do good for his country, but still hating the japanese after all these years, because he can't get all the pain he felt during that time out of his head. Al Sharpton still thinks the civil rights movement is going on. Ultimately, he's a good person, but he's out of touch with reality.

I'm not the biggest Sharpton fan, but when he said that line to Michael's kids I thought it was a good one too.

And yeah, I think Paris speaking was the highlight of the entire thing. We finally get to see one of his children actually do something and that is what she chose to say, it was an emotional moment.

I had the whole thing on during work and I got to listen/see most of it. I felt like some of it seemed forced... like did we really need that little kid singing a song? I'm sure that kid doesn't give a flying fuck about Michael Jackson. Usher pushing those tears out of his eyes was ridiculous. Stevie Wonder was pretty great though.

The kid got famous from singing a Micheal Jackson song on Britians got talent, and was going to be part of Micheal Jackson's final tour so he actually met him before all this.

Early in Usher's career Micheal apparently worked with Usher alot, and even helped him in the studio. If that relationship isn't exaggerated its perfectly understandable that he'd cry.

Pretty awesome.

And looking at the comments there, it's obvious all those people are a bunch of youngsters. Saying the guy wasn't popular until he died is just ridiculous.

My wife and I just finished watching the Living with Michael Jackson Documentary. Even though Bashir does try and tilt things to the way he wants you to see them, it's a really great look into MJ's life, and you honestly feel terrible for the guy through most of it.

The famous scene where he's interviewing with the 12 year old holding his hand is creepy. But an observation that Dem and I made when he's talking with Bashir at the end of the documentary about the child molestation case is that he seems very matter of fact and sincere about what he's saying. This is in comparison to how he dodges the facial surgery questions and the whole Blanket's mother thing, which in the middle of the documentary he laid about and told the truth about later. The slumber party stuff is weird, but I can't help but believe the guy is telling the truth.

Regardless, this was obviously the piece that really truly ruined his life.

Wow man. I always had a feeling that was worse than we thought it was. I assumed he most likely always wore wigs after that and I seem to be right. Th entire back of his head was bald. Poor MJ.
