Actually, with that klonoa design, I'm more upset by the removal of the pac-man hat. Plus, how the hell are those ears supposed to let him float in the air? Would he pull a yoshi and grunt loudly and kick his legs really fast?

I think I take back my comments about being glad they stuck with the original design. Maybe it WOULD have been a good idea to change Klonoa. He might be established, but he's hardly well known, and the more appealing he is, the better.

Looking at his new design, outside of his head it's almost identical. I guess I don't mind the cat ears... sure his floppy ones make sense for his floating but whatever.

I don't mind the spyborgs redesign. They're not that radically different from each other, and the characters do look better to me.

However, I didn't hate the original designs they had either and they probably didn't even need to change a thing.

It was their call to make though, and I can't say either way if they made the right or wrong one.

I don't remember exactly what I said, but I agree in that the new designs aren't bad, just that it seemed like a bit of a "why bother?" type thing.
