Well we basically have a thread on all the games we beat so why not have one on the books/comics we read.
I just picked up the Astounding Wolf-Man trade by Robert Kirkman and Jason Howard. Its an Image book and it loosely ties into Invincible (another of Kirkman's characters). This trade collects issues 1-7 of the new title and tells the tale of Gary Hampton who becomes the Wolf-Man after a bad camping incident. He quickly finds out that he becomes a werewolf when the moon becomes full. The first night of the full moon he can't control the beast within. Kirkman wanted to do a take on the classic wolfman and make him a superhero. Kirkman loves to bring misery to the cast of characters he writes. I mean just take a look at the Walking Dead and you can't get too comfortable with a character because they die often.

If anyone is thinking about getting into something not too crazy and kinda fun The Astounding Wolf-Man is a very fun read. I enjoyed it very much.

I'm in the process of reading "I'm A Lebowski, You're A Lebowski: Life, The Big Lebowski, and What Have You." which is written by the dudes that created Lebowski Fest. Its really entertaining so far.

I also got "The Chris Farley Show" written by his brother and "Cesar's Way" by the Dog Whisperer for Christmas.

Once I finish Lord of the Flies for my English class I'm going on a big Chuck Palahniuk rampage. I'm going to read Fight Club, Choke, Survivor and Invisible Monsters.

Stuff I've read all together, or in '09.

I'm reading right now The Krzyzewskiville Tales, a book about the line up of tents outside Cameron Indoor at Duke U for BBall games.

I have more books to read then video games to play, and that says something.

I just figured its a thread for everyone to see what your reading and if you recommend it.

About 2 weeks ago I finished reading The Magician's Nephew. Its the first book in the Chronicles of Narnia series. I'm reading the second book now but not as quick as the first since its the Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. I already know the story and just didn't skip it. I have about 20 pages left and then I'm onto the next book.

Here is a picture of what I'll be reading for the next few days. I just blow through comic stuff and the Narnia is very easy read.

Game development for Zune huh? I want to develop something for Andriod or iPhone. But since I don't have a MAC, I might have to look into Android. I have no idea what the Gphone can do though.

The XNA Game studio is a free download along with C# Studio Express. It has all the tools to deploy a game on the 360, it even lets you use a 360 on your network to test and debug.

Dont want to hijack the thread too badly, but yeah if you upgrade to a different tier of the XNA Creator's club you can sell your games through the Community Games area. My main motivation is getting my C# skills up to snuff using this as motivation to learn more.

Its modeled after the Canterbury Tales, 12 people waiting in a tent outside of Cameron before the UNC game at Duke telling stories of past K-Ville.

It was pretty good, an easy read to start of the year, I read it in about 4 hours.

Last Month i read Anthony Bourdain's "Kitchen Confidential." It was really good, and i'll probably read it again in a few months. Right now i'm reading Chris Turner's "Planet Simpson: How a Cartoon Masterpiece Defined a Generation." It's also very good.
