I'm checking out the latest Hip Hop releases when the beat on one of Fabolous' new records jumps out at me as something I know I've heard before. I finally recognized what it was and it turns out he sampled the very beginning of "Dance of Curse" from the Escaflowne OST. I was checking around the usual Hip hop sites to see if anybody figured this out yet, but looks like I am the first to discover this.

Hahaha it's pretty obscure for someone to use that in their music. That guy must have been a huge Escaflowne fan.

I know one thing, that show has great music.
