I am in the process of a trial run with foundrymusic.com to become a CD and DVD reviewer. I sent them a few of my reviews that I put up on this message board and they liked what they saw which is weird because I never thought of myself as much of a writer. I kinda just ramble on until I feel like I said enough.

Foundry Music is the website run by Opie & Anthony's Executive Producer which is how I heard about the opening. Its a non paying job but I get shitloads of free stuff. They're sending me a few CDs and they'll see how I handle myself with my write ups. Pretty cool if I do say so myself.

They said I might also get a chance to interview bands through email or on the phone. I dont know what kind of bands but its cool nonetheless.
And they also might want me to review adult DVDs. hahahahaha
So I might have a stock of porn soon if anyone wants some. haha

So I guess all that Xanga and Nerdlog writing (not to mention thousands of smorgas board reviews) really paid off. Not literally though since its a non-paying job.

yeah my payment is free stuff which is kinda cool.
i'll probably get nothing that i really WANT though.
the website pretty much reviews hard rock/heavy metal CDs and pornos. haha

i already download every CD that I want but I guess owning a real copy will be nice.

That's good, you can recommend some good metal core / pornos for us.

yeah i mean free stuff as payment is cool as long as they dont run you into the ground with it. for example, giving you a bunch of notes on a review which makes you spend a buch of extra hours working on it. that kind of stuff.

I read some of the stuff they have up there now and its not too detailed so it should be a breeze. and they said to take my time, sometimes they have a CD sitting around for a couple weeks before they get around to reviewing it.

I got my first 2 CDs to review in the mail today.

Mondo Generator - Dead Planet
The Clay People - Waking The Dead

At least I've heard of both of them.

I was accepted.
I sent in my 2 reviews the day after I got the CDs in the mail and now a couple weeks later they got back to me.
I have to setup a Foundry Music account so I can start uploading shit on my own and they'll start sending out the CDs. Hopefully I get some good stuff. Mondo Generator turned out to be pretty decent but the Clay People were terrible.

I'll post a couple links once I get my stuff on the page.

moving this to music since it seems like i'll be strictly a CD reviewer.

I just got a new package in the mail.

Evile - Enter the Grave
Metalocalypse: Dethklok - The Dethalbum
Mayday Parade - A Lesson in Romantics
Adema - Kill the Headlights
Within Temptation - The Heart fo Everything
Madina Lake - From Them, Through Us, To You

I heard of the last three but dont really like their stuff.
I think Steve or Frank wrote an article about the adult swim show Metalocalypse, I guess they put out an album. hahaha
And the other two I have never heard of.

Its been a while but I got a package with some new CDs to review.

Paul Mahos - New Life Crisis
The Bangkok Five - Promotional Copy (not sure of the album name)
J-Henry - Code Red
The Last Goodnight - Poison Kiss

Never heard of any of them. Already listened to that last one and it was terrible.
My reviews will eventually go up in the other section.

That scene was HOT

I can't imagine how you could review a porno, theyre all exactly the same. Over dramatic acting on all parts, the only good one is the one where that dude is screaming like a maniac.

I don't know, some pornos are better than others. I guess it all depends on how hot the chick is. But some chicks just naturally fuck better. They put on a good show.
