I don't know if Spike lost some of their advertising or something but I'm watching DEA and every single commercial break they show the same like 7 ads for their shows (1000 ways to die, auction hunters, CSI, etc) and then like 2 normal non-Spike ads. It wouldn't be as irritating if I had something else to watch during the breaks or if they had at least a little variety.

It means that they have not been able to sell ads for that particular show. Either that or they have already run all the ad time they had contracted for that show. But yeah, promo bombs are annoying.

Actually I'm starting to think that it is supposed to be a 45 minute show and they are running the time up to an hour per episode with all this nonsense.

All hour long shows are actually between 40 and 45 mins. Just like all 30 min shows are actually 20-23 minutes.

Yeah I know but they I just realized that last time they had a DEA marathon each episode had a 45 minute running time with ads, today the running time is 1 hour.

ABC Family does the same shit...My wife watches those Harry Potter marathons they do all the time and all they do is show the same 4 commercials.
