I almost cut the tip of my finger off last night being an idiot.

I was cleaning up the kitchen and was about to throw out the giant avacado seed. Before throwing it out I decided I wanted to see what it looked like if I cut it open. THere was a decent crack down it but I needed a knife to get it. I thought "I'm probably going to cut myself." I was being very careful and whoop, knife slice down right onto my finger. It's not as bad as it could have been but still... what a bone headed move. I even knew it was dumb.

I got the seed open though. There is another seed inside.

i think it is only one seed and the outer cover is just a protective shell.

That is a hell of a protective barrier that thing has.

well a lot of seeds have them. once the actual seed inside germinates, the shell pops open and protects the little bud until it grows enough to survive on its own.

Was asked to take a trip to Rita's Water Ice. Said I didn't want to go because I didnt want anything, but decided to go anyway. Ended up getting a large vanilla softserve ice cream cone. Feel like I'm going to puke on myself.

every once in a while i get a good look at my glasses, and the nose pads are just plain disgusting. like green and nasty. i generally take a minute or two to pick the gunk out of there, but the space is too small to get a nail in there. so then i just leave it and put my glasses back on my horrible face where they belong.

HAHAHAHAH, yeah, my old glasses had mold there. It was gross looking. But then again, they are from back in high school days. I finally got a new pair of frames but then I got the surgery right afterwards so no more glasses for me thank god.

Infections are caused by bacteria, not mold.

Alright, so mold do cause infections. I'm not a doctor. I just say things that could either be true or false.

I don't think it's mold. I think it has something to do with the acids from your skin reacting with the metal and oxidation or whatever.

Pretty sure nick is right. I don't think that spot is an ideal place for mold growth.

If you can't get it all out in those tiny spots use dental floss to drag it out.

I hate grocery shopping now. Not that I ever really liked it, but before I used to be able to get in, throw in a bunch of frozen shit in my cart, and get out. Now I read the label on EVERYTHING. I will stand there for 2 minutes comparing the labels of 2 brands of the same shit trying to decide if the extra 2 grams of protein is worth the extra quarter that the name brand is trying to sell for. It takes me forever to get out of the store. Moreover I like eating fruits and vegetables, but living alone makes it a pain in the ass. The stuff almost always goes bad before I get a chance to finish it.
Fucking first world problems.....

Well the food shopping will become easier once you know which brands to buy. So that always helps. The veggie part, ah that's even a problem when you have a family. We always have fruits and veggies going bad.
