Seriously, I'm not even sure if this post is going to go through. This place is the WORST. I just trued downloading the latest Giant Bombcast for something to listen to and it was <1kb a second. 9 hours remaining ona 92 MB file, what is this fucking 1997? Fuck the Hampton Inn in Omaha Nebraska's internet. Worst ever.

Yeah hotel internet blows goats. Virtually every one that I've used has been awful.
A couple years ago I was at a conference and shit went wrong with the servers at work. I got disconnected about 6 times before going to a coffee shop.

BTW, do they charge for internet there? I didn't realize that places still did that, but the last 2 $150+/night places I've stayed actually had an additional fee for internet. That's such a ripoff.

some do some dont. decent places usually don't. or there is a code they will give you depending on what you are there for. sometimes if you just ask they will give it to you. but no mattr what, they all throttle the shit out of it. the second you start downloading something instead of just browsing or reading email, the speed drops.

This place (Hampton Inn) is free, but I'd be happy to pay if it was for non-shit internet. Especially since I'm here on the company's dime.

I've never seen so many firearms in one place. We were in what is essentially a Dicks Sporting Goods store and they had cases of M4s. They're actually pretty affordable.

My entire downtown core gets free wi-fi, high speed (more like moderate speed) internet. Canadian socialism bitches, suck it!

I don't see how it can be feasible to do that for an entire downtown, and then not get decent, complimentary internet for paying hotel patrons.

We're at the mandalay bay. It's not too bad in my room, but one of the other guys has a terrible connection. Thankfully no VPN blockage either.
