You mean like these? I can see women wearing these, I can't imagine it being very comfortable for a guy to wear this.

Yeah I see those women's jeans that are basically touching the cooch and I just don't get it, that would bug me so goddamn much.

I'm thinking of asking for this for my birthday since I have no idea what else I want aside from maybe more clothes. I hate using my laptop when working from home so I want another one so I can plug my work laptop into.

I did the PUPD with Dark Souls tonight. I got half way to the register and turned back.

When I came out to the car empty handed my wife called me ridiculous.

I've done many virtual PUPD's with it. Waiting for 30 or 20.

I think I might buy a new phone tomorrow
Image
http://www.htc.com/us/smartphones/htc-o ... jsid=20718

It doesn't have external storage which kind of sucks, but I can get over it.
I REALLY HATE that it doesn't have a replaceable battery though. Any objective iphone users out there that can tell me that the non-replaceable battery isn't a big deal?
Chances are I'll buy another new phone in 2-3 years so assuming the battery lasts that long I'm ok.... I just can't stand the fact that they've basically made an iphone and put android 4 on it.
Unfortunately it's the best phone out right now for my carrier and att isn't getting the Galaxy S3 for a long time.

It's only a big deal if it breaks, haha. A battery breaking would probably be considered faulty and replaced by apple for free. Mine has never broken though.

Scooped up some games at NL. Had to grab Goemon 2 to complete my SNES Goemon collection, and also grabbed Fire Emblem: Monshou no Nazo (SNES), Gremlins 2 and Mystery Quest (NES). Mystery Quest is such a shit piece, but I needed to get it. I used to play it all the time when I was a kid. I still laugh when you fall in water and it says "Hao can't swim" while he waves his stupid arms around.

Sweet. I really wanted to get that Goemon myself but I had to be good. So you have all of them? There are three total, right? Do you have both Mystic Ninja for SNES and SFC?

Gremlins 2 is awesome BTW. Also, yeah I played lots of Mystery Quest when I was younger too. Like you said, fucking awful, but I'd also like to add it to the collection at some point. That had to be a cheap one, right? How much did you pay? Remember Amagon? Another bad one I'd love to get.

Sorry to scoop that Goemon on you, but I had to take my opportunity. That was the last SNES Goemon I needed, out of the 4 of them. I'd like to get them all at one point, but there's actually a ton of Goemon games. I don't know if I'll ever round them all up. I don't have the first SFC Goemon, but if I do get around to collecting them all, I'll get it at some point. I'm not sure how much different it is than the US version.

Mystery Quest was 6 bucks, so I had to grab it. It's so terrible. It's got that really obscure pixel hunt mentality that old games like Milon's Secret Castle and Zelda had. You have to shoot the hell out of every block to figure out how to get through the dungeons. The platforming is the worst though. There's no run button, you gain speed as you move forward continuously, which is frustrating as hell. Also, the way you fire is almost random, so good luck fighting anything.

Oh no thats fine, I would LIKE to have gotten it, but I had no intentions. They've stocked a lot of great stuff recently. I wanted that TG16 SOOOO fucking bad. Especially since they also just stocked Blazing Lasers and Legendary Axe.

Yeah but over time every battery has it's lifetime get shorter and shorter. Or is that not a problem because you buy a new iphone every year :P

I love Milon's Secret Castle. I remember asking my parents for that game and they paid $50 for it. It was well worth it though because I played it to th end. No strategy guides, no internet faqs. I beat that game straight up.

Didn't notice any serious degradation when I used my 3GS for 2-3 years. YMMV.

I have never had a phone that did not suffer from that. Also my ipod touch has it worse than most phones. I used to be able to go days without charging it but now I do it almost daily.

You really didn't have a ton of options back then. You beat games through word of mouth and help from Nintendo Power, that's it. It's a shame that sort of thing can't ever be recreated now. Information is too readily available. This is why I think something like Fez is admirable, although pointless.

That's actually really impressive. I came very close to beating that game but could never do it. I didn't own it growing up (I have it now) so I rented it often. I remember getting stuck near one of the top floors of the castle and just not finding the right thing to blast and or move to move on.

Yeah, the last secret is riduclous. You have to jump into the roof of one of the towers and if you miss it, you have to climb up to the 3rd floor again and do it all over again. I don't know how I figured it out. I think I just jumped into it by random because I didn't know where I was going and just jumping around randomly.

Bought it and love it so far. uPnP for videos doesn't seem to be working for me yet, but everything else is lightening fast.
