I'm sure everyone's read what happened yesterday.
Damn you stock market! Why can't you just be good and not tumble?! My 1 stock went down $4.86! Hopefully everything will bounce back...

What stock was that? If you're in long term, you'll be fine.

Yeah, I'm not too worried. But I'm pretty sure the majority of the market took a hit.

It recovered a little bit today. People tend to hit the panic button way too fast. BTW, what fucking stock was it??!

I'm doing pretty well in this Fantasy Stock Market challenge thing on CNBC.com

They give you a million bucks, and see what you can do with it over 10 weeks.

After my first week, I'm in the top 22%, and made over 40,000 fake dollars.

In the end, they take the top 20 people, and have them start over for 2 weeks, and the winner actually gets $1,000,000 cash.

I like the stock market. Even after it's horrible crash due to overseas markets selling off their stuff, DOW's at near historical highs (which it set not even 3 months ago). But then again, Ebay, Microsoft, Intel... they are nowhere near worth what they were in the late 90s.

Damn, Google took a hit now i'm only up 5 grand and in the top 42%. Did you invest the entire million already? I only invested half so far.

I invested about 90% of it.

I didn't buy any Google, as it was too expensive for me (i know, with a million bucks) to make me warrant enough to buy it.

I bought a crapload of a company called Cerner. CERN is their name. Me and Cerner have some history.

Glad to see another Shamoozaler who likes the stock market.

Did you see the top movers in the contest so far? I don't think I'd actually want to own any of them in real life. Guess it's easy to take chances with fake money.

Yeah, I've seen a lot of the top movers. Those who own those are probably not doing so hot, because they are only watching what goes on TV.

I like using Yahoo! Finance to help me out a bit, and it's been pretty helpful for me.

I am in the Top 4% on the Million Dollar Challenge. Had a buttload of Merck and then sold it at the end of the day on Friday.

For most of the time, I've been around the top 10% mark. But now, I changed my methods and will see if they pay off so I can be in the top 10 for the real race.

The stock market is getting clobbered these past 2 weeks. People need to get their act together.

Blame the Financials for giving out stupid loans to people who couldn't afford them in the first place...

Expect the stock market to be in the green today since the Fed has cut rates:

Yeah, I just heard that on the radio this morning. Thank god. Yesterday around 12:30, I was about to have a heart attack.

Yo Jeff,

When you opened up your Sharebuilder account, did they automatically sign you up for an money market account? I didn't sign up for a money market account but some how one just showed up in my portfolio today. I not quite sure what that was about.
