I'm sure it's entertaining but it caused exactly what I thought it would. So many people on my FB were posting about having an epic party like that. Yeah, good luck with that.

Its like the same people who saw the Hangover and now bachelor parties are weekends long and they're making people go to Vegas.

That's always been happening, and I never understood it to be honest.

It seems like you hear about it more lately. Its not just Vegas though, Louie was in a wedding a year or two ago and his buddy made everyone go to Montreal for a "Hangover" type bachelor party. You're getting married, big fucking deal, stop making your wedding party spend their life savings. Anything more then 100 bucks and I'm not doing a bachelor party, we've been lucky all of our friends parties have been simple cheap things, like their supposed to be.

Yeah I agree. I don't get the big long weekend thing either, it's ridiculous.

In my case I wasn't even allowed to have a real bachelor party, but to be honest I didn't really care that much. I cared slightly, only because I do just like having a night out with the guys and thought it was a little silly I couldn't because she hates the idea of bachelor parties.

Yeah, women think guys go absolutely nuts, when I have a feeling your bachelor party would have been at someones house with beer and videos games.

Yup, exactly. Hahaha. That said, some guys do get out of hand at bachelor parties, but Dem knows me well enough to know I wouldn't have been like that.

Why would you want a Hangover style party? It's ridiculous. They got drugged, lost their memories and made a bunch of horrible decisions.

Are you fukin serious? Doesn't she just allow you to go hang out with just dudes? Whats the fukin difference?

Also I am with you guys, if your wedding/bachelor/bachelorette party costs me more than like $200, you will be getting a gift and a "sorry I couldn't make it" card.

yeah i have a buddy who has always done that type of shit way before the hangover came out.

people think their fucking wedding needs to be the pinnacle of human society. like destination weddings are just fucking rude. i mean of course, people live in different places, and it really made me feel bad to have my wedding so far from my family but i was trying to find a middle ground for everyone. however, having your wedding in the fucking tropics, or making your party fly out to some mountain to see you saw some shit you probably really don't even mean in the first place because you're going to get divorced in a year is fucking insane.

I have no problem with people doing destination weddings.
If you don't want to pay for the trip, then don't go. I don't think the people getting married expect a huge turnout.
Some people don't like your average run of the mill wedding stuff.
I've gone to two, both in Jamaica, and both were awesome times. I'd look forward to another one... but having a kid kind of cancelled that of ever happening.

As for bachelor parties, I think the combined one is bullshit. No offense to the people that did it, or were forced to do it.
Go out with the guys and act like idiots. And girls, go do whatever you girls do. Whats the harm in that?
Girls think strip clubs are guys banging strippers and blowing their loads everywhere. Its far from it. Most of the time I just get hammered and throw dollar bills at vaginas and laugh at them. Sure, I'll get a dance here and there but I don't always.
And it doesn't even have to be a strip club. Just go get hammered and have a laugh with the guys. Even if its the last night you're allowed to do it.
We've done a Beerfest before as a bachelor party and that was an awesome time. But 9 times out of 10 its a strip club.

Last bachelor party I was at was at the Ren Faire. Fucking great time. No boobs or anything, just a bunch of guys having a good time watching crazy shit, listening to cool bands, and drinking beers.

I've actually never been to a strip club for a bachelor party, but most of my friends either didn't have one or just had a guys night out type of thing.

I'm tyring to think off the top of my head.
I think I've been to 12 bachelor parties and 9 of them involved a strip club or strippers in some capacity.
The other 3 were a beerfest, dinner then a bar and just drinking at someone's house.

And Hack's bach party is coming up in a couple months. I'm sure some nude women will be involved.

No offense taken, and I sort of agree. It's not even called a bachelor party at that point. It's just going out before the wedding.

If I must say though, I think I threw my brother a decent boobie free bachelor party. Haha.

I agree... that Paintball place was fucking awesome. The castle at the end was just insane and I still can't believe your dad shot me right in the head while I was sniping in the tower hahaha.

I don't mind a destination wedding, I skipped out on 2 of them because we had Bobby, and I doubt either couple really cared we weren't there. I just think its absurd to ask someone to travel halfway across the country or out of the country for a Bachelor party.

And I can't imagine Colleen ever telling me I can't do something, that would just make me do it anyway.

My college friend is actually having his in Puerto Rico for a few days. Total cost would probably be a couple grand. I obviously can't go because of the baby. But I probably would have gone if I didn't have a baby. Not so much because it's a bachelor's get away but just for a sake of get away with the guys.

I don't know. One of my best friends from college had the weekend bachelor party before the Hangover came out. We didn't go to Vegas, but we did go to Atlantic City. And yes, many strippers were involved, and quite a few nasty hangover style pranks... The loaded toilet in the groom to be's room was probably the best. There must have been 3 people's worth of dumps in it and it was left there ALL day so when he opened the door to his room after we were all drunk, it was just awesome.
