"JDuffer,
I've asked you before over the years to take me off your list, because you have the wrong fsummers. Now you sent me this, so I'll take the opportunity to once again ask you to please take me off your email list.
While I'm at it, I'll also remind you that there is a separation of Church and State for this very reason. There is a group of individuals who do not have the same privileges as a vast majority do. Every man and woman is free to celebrate their religion and live their life as they see fit as long as it does not infringe on the same rights that is granted to others. Let's just take away women's right to vote. Black people should go back to drinking out of their own water fountain. We are talking about a civil liberty that is being denied to a certain group of people in our population here. Let's just roll back a few other while we're at it, right?
Liberty and justice for all...except for any two people who happen to be in love with each other, who want to pursue a life of happiness together, and who also happens to be of the same sex. I know a gay couple who recently adopted a beautiful little baby girl. That little girl will absolutely grow in a house where she is loved, know that she was always wanted and will be surrounded by people who want to be happy. Clearly her own parents, who I would assume were straight, did not want that for her. Thank God for a loving and caring couple, who happens to be gay, wanted to bring her up into this world and to show her not hate but love.
