AMC is really getting a shit ton of good shows. This one really interests me. I love zombies and hear the source material is great. Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption) is writing and directing. Picked up for 6 episodes.

Here's the trailer. Show starts on Halloween night with a 90 minute premiere.

This is the only comic I follow from issue to issue. It's really insanely good. The series looks to live up to that tradition.

yeah they show em during mad men too. every AMC original is pretty damn impressive, so I am pretty hopeful that this will be a great show.

Days Gone Bye
The survivors of a world overrun with zombies are followed in this horror series. In the first episode, a sheriff's deputy emerges from a coma to find few people but far too many flesh-eating "walkers" who have died and come back to life. The lawman encounters another member of the human race, who tells him there's a refugee center in Atlanta, so he heads there with hopes of finding his missing wife and son.
