yeah, they were 2 out of my 3 favs, the imp of course being the favorite. but yeah, rob has been on screen maybe 5 mins per episode..which sucks. johns story has been weak..but they are kind of all over the place with shit at this point. they may have spread it a bit thin. there are a lot of story lines going at once, which kind of makes it hard to concentrate on any of them for more than a few minutes. i mean in this ep alone we had

-dineres and the missing dragons
-everybody hates geoffrey
-theon goes hunting
-escape of the king slayer
-john snow gets morning wood
-aria and tywin's dinner

thats a lot of shit to cover and that really isnt even all of it. just what i remember. now aria and tywin's scene was awesome, the queen and the imp's scene was awesome and the whole pen scene with jaime and his cousin was fukin great. but it just doesn't leave a lot of time to flush anything out.

also, why the fuck didn't Aria just say "Twin Lannister, Geoffry Borathean and Ceirse Borathean" and just end this shit? I'm sorry, but that's one of those plot holes that just rubs me the wrong fukin way. She knew who was responsible for Ned's death..you really think she would waste it on some torturer dude? That shit will piss me off throughout the season. It's dumb.

1 hour isn't long enough for these episodes.

thats kind of how im feeling. like they need to be 2 hours, or there need to be twice as many eps. they have to fukin rush through this shit and while it keeps it moving, it kind of makes me give less of a shit.

HAHAHA Irate you spelled almost every single name wrong

Daenerys, Joffrey, Jon Snow, Arya, Cersei. Hahaha.

I haven't watched the latest episode but the best parts of book 2 were the Arya parts.I feel like a lot of the stuff you guys are complaining about is way better in book 3.

Also I was thinking about books 4 and 5, I think they'll have to blend them together for 2 seasons. If they did the 4th season like the 4th book I bet viewership would crumble.

The more I think about this season, the more I'm really not liking it. A lot of unnecessary changes that just aren't important and are diluting the story. The season is building towards a big battle, and we haven't even seen Stannis in like 3 episodes! The second book is completely Tyrion's book, and we got a bit of that in the earlier episodes with his cleaning out the trash, but not enough in this last half of him getting shit done. I loathed that scene between Tyrion and Cersei last episode. Attempting to make Cersei any sort of a sympathetic character is so far from what made her interesting in the books.

As much as I like Arya and Tywin's scenes, it's also not at all what Arya's story was at that point. Harrenhall is supposed to be fucking horrible, and she sees terrible shit all the time. It's what sets her on her path for the rest of the series, and now she's just hanging out with poppa Tywin and eating nice meals. Arya's kill choices make more sense in the book too because Tywin isn't even there until much later.

I rationalized the additions, at first, as them just giving the characters more to do on screen, because in the books, characters are away not doing anything for hundreds of pages at a time, but the additions just aren't working.

BAAAAAAH, humbug.

Most of this stuff is either new additions or things that could've happened off screen.

edit: I pretty much plagiarized this gaf post from memory, hahaha: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?p=37894867#post37894867

Man I don't know I have 2 female friends who have read the book and both were fans of Cersei. Especially in book 4. I think she is a great character, who is written very well, but I do not want the series to end well for her whereas at least one of these chicks actually might like her more than Jon Snow.

Sorry man. If you didn't read the book those are all pretty solid guesses though almost all of them make sense phonetically except for Dineres.

This isn't a spoiler since all the information relating to the theory has already been covered, but the most popular theory is that John Snow is the son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen. It's pretty much agreed on by fans to be true. I would be very surprised if it wasn't true.
