One of the best games of this generation of consoles (even though I played on PC lol). Just a fantastic game. I love the environment and the openness of it all. Tough call on whether I like this more than Fallout 3 but I think I do. Also Yes Man was awesome.

Meh, I had this thing sitting in my backlog for awhile now... I literally had it beat up until the last boss encounter but didn't finish it off so I could do some more side quests. I've got a good half a dozen games sitting around like this where I've just got to kill the final boss guy haha.

Oh well, a year later and a dollar short. It was a good game.

While this game was a step forward in many ways, it also failed to reach the awesome levels of the first rearmed. There are some cool new additions, like the ability to swap power-ups and weapons on the fly, but for the most part it's just a slightly watered down version of the first. The boss fights are recycled throughout the course of the game, the soundtrack has it's highs and lows (and treads on old ground a little too much if you ask me), and the story tries to be a little more engaging, but not that hard. Anyway, there are some sweet levels, and when you are swinging around like a maniac it's great fun. If you liked the first, you'll probably enjoy this one too. Just not as much.

This was a pretty interesting game, it tried to mix GTA and Assassin's Creed together and it worked for the most part. Too bad Pandemic got shut down, because I think a sequel would have been great. Also, the game was pretty damn buggy, it really doesn't like quad core processors.

Slowing down on the games beaten this year. Oh well! I need them to last me a while. Anyway I downloaded this sweet free game that Dante showed us. He told me it was short so I ran through it tonight. It's pretty cool for what it is! The final boss sort of pissed me off, but I figured out his tricks. Took me about 22 minutes to get through the whole thing. If you find that you love it though, there are apparently all sorts of hidden goodies to find.

Im sure you know by now since you won, but the trick is to weaken them at the same time. So I'd alternate hits between the one on the right (right at the start of the fight, it's easy to keep track of him after that because he always drops second) and then the one on th eleft. I'd go for the left one when they would surround you and throw shit at you. Eventually I won.

At first I just hammered the one on the right, but when he died the other one just stomps on you nonstop. There is no way to dodge the stomp (I dont think) so that's why you need to weaken them at the same time, so that you can survive a handful of stomps. It was hard, I probably spent close to 10 minutes on that part.

Yeah, that's what I figured out too. You can dodge that stomp by 'juking' him out. If you just run one constant direction, he will hit you, but if you start running back, then go forward again, he will miss.

Yeah, you can dodge the stomp. My issue with the game was that there was some kind of invisible enemy in the middle of that area where you fight the boss. It would hit me twice every time I went over to start the boss fight, and always end up killing me while I was running from one of the boss creatures. Pissed me off so much that I just turned it off.

Hmm, must have been a glitch. I didn't have that in the 100 times I fought those turds.

Yeah, it definitely was. I couldn't get to them without losing half of my life. It was damn frustrating. I really enjoyed the music and the look of the game. Wish I could have finished it. Maybe I'll give it another shot in a little bit.

Nate, I had that happen once AFTER I beat the bosses. I started attacking the spot where I got hit thinking something was there and then just walked forward. I'm so glad I had extra health.

And I swear I tried faking out that stomp and it just wouldn't work. Guess my timing was poor.

I bought this game March of 2010 and it took me 11 months to finish the campaign. It was fun and I think I'm going to now focus on some of the other titles I've been neglecting to finish like Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions, LBP2, Black Ops, and Epic Mickey.

I funny little shmup, it was free as a PS+ member so I don't know if I would have paid for it. I picked it up for the cutesy character designs because my daughter loves that stuff. Not terribly challenging, but there is a hard mode after you finish the 5 levels.

Shootin' stuff IN SPACE! Wasn't bad, wasn't great. I was entertained, though there were a few frustrating parts. The animation in the cutscenes made me feel like it was kind of rushed. It's not bad enough to ruin it, but it seemed like someone still needed to go over it again. Also, most abrupt credits ever.

Next up: Dicktits.

1 thing I don't like so far is that it's in 720p. I have barely played though.

Very few console games actually render in 1080p...very few.

Great things include: enemies dancing chaotically as you fill them with rounds, the mini-gun, giant spider tank battle, the glowy jungle.
Not so great things: the lame brotacular story, FUCK!, how it turns into Rebel Assault II sometimes.

I don't know about Dante, but the ending made me laugh pretty hard. DONUT READ*Nuke burns up entire planet* "How many people did we just kill?" <regret> /end hahahahahahahahaha!

Loved it! Really fun gameplay and gorgeous visuals. I can definitely see people hating the humor, but some of it was pretty funny, and sometimes I just laugh at bad jokes anyways. I was entertained. Bring on Bulletstorm2!

I'm interested in it but I don't like paying $60 for a single player only game less than 20 hours (I don't count that hoard mode thing.)
