How many levels are there total? 29 or 26? I'm still trying to get all the achievements for the earlier levels before I move onto the last part because you can't go back to do them when you've gone past a certain point. I think there's only about 6 more levels I have to redo. I thought I would get a feats of strength by killing all the protoss on the drilling map on hard, I did not. :(

Anyone have a link to a site that could show me some basic strategy for multiplayer?

Just before I go over any of those things would you mind writing up a really brief summary of how to play each class. Just really short.

I don't really know man. I just got the game. I'm not even through the campaign yet. I only played 3 online matches so far plus some on the beta. But some stuff that I know from previous RTS games can be applied like scouting, expanding, rally points, hot keys, and grouping units. I actually just learned a new trick from a youtube video on how to use "grid" key mapping. I've actually already remembered a bunch of the hot keys already so it's kind of weird for me to try to switch to grid. I supposed I could but it's much easier for people that are just starting.

This guy does a few pretty good beginner tutorials
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBHBsBS__1M

Oh, and when you move, always use "attack move" instead of right clicking.

If your hot keys are set to default, that's pressing "A" and then left clicking to the location instead of right clicking to move your units. Always use attack move. There are some situations where you want explicit control of your men, then I don't recommend just attack moving. You actually need to micro your units.

Also, hold "shift" to set multiple rally points. Hold "ctrl" and select a unit to select all units of that type. Hold "shift" to add units to your group. Hold "ctrl" and "shift" and left click a unit to add all units of that type on the screen to your group.

I finally beat the campaign. Played a couple of games with my buddy. So much fun. I am pretty noob though.

Me and a buddy just played a 2v2 both sides were Terran and Zerg. Unfortunately I had to leave soon so we rushed and the terran guy had crazy siege tanks and just messed us up.

I started the campaign on Brutal and did a few levels yesterday. I just want to get all the achievements for the campaign and get the Kerrigan portrait. It wasn't as bad as I had thought it would be. It's just slightly harder than hard and the computer attacks you more. You just have to be a little faster and more efficient and micro your army a little more. Plus being to save anytime also helps. I hear the last level is pretty tough though. I didn't think it was that bad on hard. You just need a million tanks. I chose to deal with nydus worms so I had a group of banshees to take care of the worms. I read from some places air is easier to deal with and some places say worms are easier.

I've kind of given up on the custom game achievements since patch 1.1. When you beat the AI on insane, it doesn't count towards all the lower ones now supposedly. I don't know why they changed that. I should have just done them all before the patch came out. Also, beating insane is a real pain in the ass with Terran now since you can't really bunker rush them anymore due to barrack supply depot nerf. All the other ones are pretty easy to get. The coop ones are a real pain in the ass now too due to the patch and change in AI. Then again, I never intended to get those anyways. I did 25 ones real quick a long time ago with another guy that was trying to get achievements pre patch.

Most of the other combat ones I got during FFA. Some of the harder ones like the roach regenerate health one, you can get after the game is over and you've got one last guy left. Just ask him if he'll help you out. Normally, people are pretty cool about it. Even if you've lost, you can ask if they will help you with achievements. You can just trade achievements. I did that for the yamato cannon one and the changling one by achievement trading.

I want to get the one for all combination of 3v3s. I'm missing 3 Terran and 3 Zerg. I swore I won one with 3 Zerg but it just didn't count it. That's why I've been kind of playing 3v3s. I figure I'd get it eventually. But the probability of 3 Terran or 3 Zerg is pretty low.

the coop insane is pretty hard, since whenever i play my allies are awful. Yeah I hated that nerf, supply depot then barracks, It doesn't really ruin the race, but it slows you dooown

I don't know why people go straight DTs. I guess same reason why people thinking cheesing is a valid strat. But I guess it's still good to practice it just to be familiar with it. But I don't take team games too seriously because of just that reason.

cheesing isn't legit, but it works like 90% of the time in team games. but anyone who's good can throw cheese away easily.
