This cold has taken me out of the game for a while now. Don't think I'll be back to EA active until next week. Last time I tried to play it I was just coughing up all sorts of phlegm. Not worth it.

Nice man. I know I was thinking about you when I grabbed all that. You can sign into your account on easportsactive.com and pull up the info I got. Just do a screen grab and post it.

Sweet you lost 6 pounders. Crazy you had a 400 calorie day.

So I really hate being set back to easier routines. Last night I did my work out and seriously could have kept going, and I probably should have. It just feels like I've gone backwards. I was thinking of making it harder by buying 15 pound weights. I know for a fact I won't be able to handle 15 pounders for some of the later and harder exercises, but for stuff like hammer curls, squats and shit it'll be no problem.

Don't man, you need to be good. I'm not saying don't have a good time with food and drink, but don't throw all caution to the wind. You have no idea how many free cookies, pretzels and donuts I've turned down this week. That said, I do plan on indulging slightly tomorrow.

It was so cold this morning that I couldn't bring myself to get out of bed and do my program. Now I feel guilty and am probably going to feel like ass tomorrow morning for doing a double tonight. Doing the morning routine is really going to suck when winter actually gets here.

Ah yeah I couldnt have imagined doing it in a morning like today. The house was freezing.

I may not be able to do this tonight. I somehow managed to pull my shoulder last night. I don't even think I was doing anything, just doing some work on the PC and I felt it just go. It wasn't too bad but when I woke up this morning it felt awful. I'll try and do what I can but I don't think it's looking good.

Probably has something to do with upping the weights and decided to do the running exercises with 5 pound weights in my hands. That was Saturday afternoon though and I felt fine afterwards. Who knows.

Finished off phase 1 of the 9 week program this morning. It seemed to go by really fast.
I'm not sure what to think of this game. It gets the heart rate up and I sweat a lot, but afterwards I just don't feel like I got a good workout. At least so far. Maybe it's because I'm doing it on easy? Some of the exercises kick my ass so I don't feel like jumping up to medium yet. Maybe I'm cheating and doing some of the exercises wrong? I don't know. I guess it just kinda feels like I work my ass off for 60-90 seconds, then do 3-5 minutes of easy exercises.

Maybe also because you're used to going to the gym? Your routine might be harder there, so maybe this doesn't feel as bad. You can always switch the difficulty to Medium whenever you want BTW. If you find it to be too much you can just go back down to Easy.

I usually feel pretty good afterward. When I first started playing I always felt like shit afterward and sometimes felt like I was going to pass out from playing it. That's how out of shape I was. Now I usually feel a bit tired but never dead, which is fine.

Checked our group totals this morning, Sword is the only one hanging in there still. Dooooods. :(

I feel like its kind of getting harder for me to maintain my weight. Despite still working out an average of 4 times a week, I guess my eating habits have gotten a bit sloppy lately so I've gone up, down, and up and then up. I'm still much below where I started out, but the fluctuation of weight gain and loss sort of sucks. According to Wii Fit my BMI hasn't really changed at all over the last few weeks, so I guess I'm doing fairly well maintaining everything.

It's just been hard, every week lately has has some sort of event. It doesnt help that last week I drank a lot of beer over the course of the week and ate some goodies here at work. Then Friday night Dem and I went out for our Anniversary and I ate like a god damn pig. So I need to just chill out with the snacks and beer. Though this weekend isn't going to be much better. Annual Halloween party at my parents which means lots of junk and beer. Just need to be good for the week.

Also, about halfway through the 9 week program on Hard. I missed last night so I have to do it tonight. :(

when you go to do a missed workout and its on a day you have a workout scheduled just change the workout day to a rest day and then do the missed workout. I did that last monday.

I haven't even turned that PS3 on in a few weeks, I need a few more hours in my day.

An extra hour in the morning where I'm not a zombie would be incredible, just 1 hour would be amazing.

Did a double today to make up for my missed sessions.
Some of the exercises on phase 2 are pretty brutal for me even on easy. I'm glad I didn't jump to medium. Alternating drop lunges can fuck off along with jump lunges. My legs are killing me now.

I didn't go to the gym at all this week so this game has been my only exercise. I was doing pretty good on my 20 lbs by Thanksgiving goal, down 13 with 5 weeks to go. I'm curious to see where I'm at this week since I didn't pull double duty, but hardly ate anything.

Yeah man it gets really hard. Jump lunges are indeed awful.

Also I only got a chance to do EA Active once this week. First time since I started where I've gone so many days. Just been a really busy week. Plan on picking it up again tomorrow.

If you skip exercises, will you still get credit for doing the workout?
I have 8 workouts left I think, but my knees are fucking killing me. Every other exercise is a lunge/squat/jump and I feel it's starting to fuck up my knees so I want to skip a few of them. Last night I ripped the skin open on my feet from doing mountain climbers on my carpet. I'm going to try wearing shoes tonight, but I think it's going to feel odd.

I just want to say fuck this game, but I'm so close to completing the 9 week challenge I don't want to stop now.
