i dont want to be a negative nancy here, but i wasnt too impressed. well, i mean it looks like its graphicall being pushed forward than the last one, but the mechanics are still the same as the first one.

i know i know. i dont fix what isnt broken and all. ill be there for it on day one though. im just being nitpicky. it does look great and im sure will be awesome. the first 2 were great.

Yeah I agree. Sequel fatigue is setting in a bit. I mean I'm really looking forward to it and can't wait, but the "specialness" has rubbed off a bit.

I love when Fallon said "This looks amazing" and the French dude says "I know." Hahaha.

I loved the 2nd because it was like playing through a movie, and I'm sure I'll love the 3rd for the same reason. It doesn't matter to me if they don't add new things or change the controls, it's just a really fun game and good story.

Looks so good. I don't care if the gameplay isn't evolving that much. I mean, where can it really go? I don't see anyone complaining that 2D Mario is still mainly scrolling from left to right and jumping on mushrooms with legs. I'm sure Uncharted 3 will still have plenty to set itself apart from the other 2.

I just want the climbing/platforming to be perfected. There was many times in 1 and 2 where I was trying to grab something next to me, and Drake leaped off whatever I was climbing.

The difference is, I could put screen shots of all the 2D Mario games next to each other and you'd be able to tell them apart.

I'm with Dante in that I hope the platforming stuff is spot on.

You'd be able to do that with Uncharted as well. The locales vary heavily in each game, and I'm sure there will be amazing set pieces like Uncharted 2. Am I the only one who remembers how awesome it was to take out the helicopter on the train, jumping out of a crumbling building and jumping from car to car taking out enemies in each along the way? Game is gonna be awesome.

Hahah, no way man. I'm pumped for this. Come on, I gave this thread the title "Game of the Year 2011." Just saying it's got a little been there done that to it from that Fallon clip.

My only question is when... The second was one of the few games I played through to completion last year. Most games I have been picking up have only gotten my attention for a few hours at best lately (partly bad timing, as something in life has been tending to get in the way, or another game comes out that I want to try). Heck, I even played through this one twice, which is something I havn't done since FFX.

I might pick up uncharted 1 again, I remember being in some courtyard a few hours in and just getting bored out of my mind.
