can you have the game opened 2 times on the same computer?

yes, what i did was make a new folder and copy the entire contents (all 10gb) of the wow folder to there. it makes it much more stable running 2 executables than running the same executable twice.

i simply have my primary account active on my main monitor at normal settings, and then i have the secondary account active on my second monitor, 800x600 LOWEST video settings. i don't see any slowdown except in Shattrath/org.

if you need macros or programs or dual boxing advice, let me know. i am slowly becoming a pro.

I did the same thing as sean. Theres an app called Keyclone that sends your keystrokes to both instances of Wow. It's $20 but well worth the price.

Our raid group downed Shade of Aran for the first time last night, I know that's kind of small potatoes but many of us are still learning Kara so it was a big deal for us.

Which one are you?

I still love the story about when you guys got horses and scheduled a time to go riding together.

I'm Hoshikage, the glowing purple/black guy.

Also, the 2 fruits that went riding together were Sithlord and Gravedigger, I had no part in that debauchery.

Well, you have to clear your way through the dungeon to get to him, and 4-5 other bosses (one was optional). All told it probably took us about 5 weeks (2-3 nights a week) to get to him and finally figure out the fight and kill him. Like I said, most of us are still learning this dungeon and have never set foot in there before. I'm sure people have done it faster and better, but we were pretty happy about it.

Well I've deceided I start playing again either tomorrow or friday. I have a cousin who is actually wanted to play for the longest so we are going to do the triple xp reward thing together(if i'm right I alos get a zherva mount). I am either rolling a orc hunter or tauren hunter don't know what I'm specing yet but we'll see. I also think once I get accustomed to the game again I might level cap a couple of my old alliance characters.

I just got my Beta key for Lich King. I'm really torn as to whether or not I want to play it.

On one hand I'm dying to see the damn game, on the other hand I don't want to spoil it for myself.

Dude I officially love the guy who did our families new computer. a family friend who owns a computer store made a custom computer for my dads birthday and my dad must of told him I play wow. I just started it up for the first time and theres like 50 muckin awesome mods on the screen. Also when I start it up a little gnome hells fatality. However, one mods I'm not so proud of. Its basically a lockpick on the screen and I can eavesdrop on anyones conversation on the server.
