When I was playing Guild Wars I was a monk and my name was Greg Shin Tan Foo. If I ever played WoW my name would be Stanford or most likely Greg.

I think I'm just going to go out and buy the expansion a little after it comes out at Gamestop or something. It's not like it's going to be a huge sellout, and I really don't care much for the vanity pets or trading cards and what not.

And on a side note, I just began leveling a blood elf paladin, that man is the shizznit. Tearing assholes to pieces with that Sindoriei Warblade.

you mean when we were talking about dual-boxing a while back? no, this is something entirely different that violates the EULA for the game. its basically a cheat program that plays the game for you.

Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of playing the game? Part of playing is grinding up the lower ranks until you are uber.

Do you think if life had levels we'd all try to get really strong and healthy? *ponders*

I try to up my levels every day. But I think I've reached a temporary level cap on my weight... I try to up my levels in guitar, vocals, and tennis. I reached level black belt in karate and stopped. My next agenda is to up my public speaking skills. There are plenty of things I need to improve upon.

I've been gaining levels in guitar pretty quickly. I'll get my ATK and DEF up around April for Rugby. Oh and my SPD for May when I bike in the annual TDC Race.

hahaha dude, we are such nerds talking like this. But some times it takes this kind of thinking in order to motivate myself to become better. Like even stuff like talking to girls. I'm much better at it now than say back in high school. I was such a noob in those days. If only I could go back in time and train myself...

It's an analogy I share with no one in the RL. I definately get what you mean, it's easier to keep doing something knowing you're progressing. I'm doing A-OK in high school right now, everyone I see with a girlfriend has no time to chill with his buddies. There's barely a balance anymore. It's sad. College will be much better.
Oh and I apologize for messing up the WOW thread. :P

un-de-railing this thread:

Got my second piece of Tier6, saw all of The Battle for Mount Hyjal except for Archimonde, got subbed out for that since i'm straight up a little undergeared. Also, i realized how poo poo slow my computer is, with 25 people and 25 mobs casting spells, i was sitting at about 10fps. As a rogue, this kills my DPS since the energy bar lags on being filled. oh well, november will be a little better when i finish my machine.

Nice! Grats on the T6 piece. I just started into T5 content (SSC) last weekend and I'll be doing my 2nd run tonight. I wish I had started a little earlier in BC's life-cycle so I could have gotten to the T6 stuff, but I guess I'll have another chance when T7, 8 and9 come out over the next 2 years.

for over a year i was stuck in a guild raiding T6+ content, but i coudl never raid because of my work schedule. i finally read about a decent guild and xferred over, I'm one of three core raiding rogues. they take two rogues to 25mans, so i'm in and out quite often.

T5 is good stuff man, SSC and TK are fun. T6 so far has been great as well. Reading the sunwell strats makes me really wanna take on that stuff, Kalecgos looks supid fun.

ALso, i'd like to see some Naxx before the next patch. i wanna get T3 before its gone.

I got my epic flying mount last night. I ust started grinding the gold a few weeks ago, so 5200 in 3 weeks wasn't too terrible considering I did it pretty casually. What a big difference in speed, I'm pretty happy with it. I wasn't even sure if i was going to be able to pull it off prior to Lich King, but mining has been pretty lucrative lately.

Now I guess they'll lower the price to 2500g or some shit and make me want to hang myself.

i'll tell ya right now, if you do dailies and if you have a gathering profession, your epic flyer will pay for itself in a week or so. i can do the outlands dailies in about an hour, and the IQD dailies in about an hour. plus i know a sweet route in Nagrand for gathering ore on my warrior. phat cash.

i want to have 10k gold before the expansion hits.

Wow, I wonder if he'd be a rockstar if he invested that much time and money into something like music...

Well I guess people have different passions. Also investing time in music won't always make you good and almost never makes you a famous rockstar. He found something he was good at and invested money into it (even though it's probably the geekyist thing I've ever heard.)

Well, in the end, he'll realize that he spent all that time learning nothing. If he spent it doing something worth while like learning music, he might not be famous but at least he'll have learned a skill that people would admire. But there's always gotta be the best of something and I guess he wanted to be the best at WoW. And being good at music ups your chances of getting laid much more than being good at WoW.
